NOTICE: Due to technical difficulties, this is the second post of this poll in order to make corrections. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The original votes cast will still be counted and added to the totals here (see the original votes below).

Provisional Board of the United Nations Space Consortium

This poll will be open for 7 days, through Monday, March 8.

Remember to also vote in the other Provisional Board Poll, UNSC Poll 2: How long should Directors serve?; and to nominate your choice for Board Director at Nominations for Directors of the UNSC.

We admit that the choices here are somewhat arbitrary. We looked at a number of boards and commissions and tried to arrive at something reasonable. There obviously has to be an odd number. A huge, congress-sized body would be way too unwieldy for a board of this type. We would expect that, after the Board is installed, the number of Directors can be modified.

All proceedings of the Provisional Board are brought to you by the Region of Texas.

Sophista again declares its support for a fifteen member board. Given the important nature of this decision-making body, it is critical that we compromise between the number of voices and the effectiveness of policymaking. This can only be achieved by walking the moderate path.

Sincerely yours,
Daniel M. Hillaker

25, since, if something isn't going to get done, it's best to at least be able to procrastinate
