Geofrey sat at his mahogoney wood desk, tapping the phone.
He lifted the handset and began dialing;
112
The phone rang for a few moments, then a womens voice spoke,
Welcome to the Random number dialer service. Please enter your pin...Now
Geofrey stared at a torn off peice of paper on his desk, reading a five digit number from it and entering the code with the handset.
Thank you Mr Wright. Now Dialing. Click
The phone began ringing once more. Ringing. Ringing.
Hello? Hello? Stuttered a femanin voice.
Oh, hello there Mrs Cropper?Geofreys voice was stern and firm, and very persuasive.
[i]Yes, thats me. Who is it?
This is Peter Wingham, I work for Franco Insurance of Pheonix, Pablicosta.
And, what is it you want? I don't beleive I am registered with you Mr Wingham?
No, thats one reason I am calling Mrs Cropper. But mainly because I know your friend Frank
Frank Shepherd???
Yes thats Frank, he got really busy in the city today and came across a great deal. And he wants you to get ahand on the profits.
I'm sorry Mr Wingham, I don' participiate in stock.
Oh Mrs Cropper, this certainly is not Stock. I will explain this to you, just listen-Okay?
Fine...
Right. All you do is invest a sum of money in the company Ordinance Re-reouter. You won't have heard of them , they make GPR systems-but they are about to make a secret takeover of a rival company. A certain City Director has high stock in Yoevil GPR, and he leaked that the prices were going to rocket after the takeover. Apperently O.R are holding back alot of info on shares untill after completion. So, with info like this you just invest and sell in a week or so. I know 5 of your friends have invested allready. So, what say you?
How much?
Just a £500 investment initial.
Well I suppose...

Casandra Knorbaker hung up the receiver. She had just spoke to a man about an investment. He promised it would be profitable and that four of her friends had invested. Her company, Burshire Hallaway had a revenue of over 5 billion dollars that year which already made her extremley wealthy. She had agreed to invest $100,000 which was nothing to the $6,000,000,000 deal she just handled. She closed her breifcase and left here office in Pablocista where she was on a trip. She was still uneasy of what she had just done but there was no turning back. She decided to froget about for the moment at least.

As she entered the garage she opened the door to here red Viper. On her seat was a note. It read as follows:

Dear Ms. Knorbaker,
I know of your investment. I disapprove. I am a figure of authority who can put you away for the rest of your life. I suggest you forget everything about your recent investment.

"Private investigatore" she said to herself. "i'm afraid I'm a little too interested to backdown now." With that she smiled and floored it.

Brett sat back in the reclining leather chair in his medium sized office over looking Northampton, one of the more prominent cities in Imitora. He drank from a glass of water, and read the paper. His phone rang.

The conversation was brief, with him promising to call back.

He dialed another number and after a second brief conversation, he redailed the number he was given.

"Yes, I just recieved a call from a Mr. Wingham about a possible investment. After checking my current protfolio, I'd like to invest a nice even number. I think the equivalent of five hundred thousand Allied Credits in pounds would be fruitfull. Thank you."

He hung up the phone, and began typing on a 'virtual keyboard', with the coresponding characters showing up on the 3D monitor in front of him. He registered the acount, and then called home, telling his wife he'd be going to Pablicosta for work.

Brett had been intrested in teh market after seeing the movie Boiler Room, and about a year later, he had a Series 7 trading liscense, and a steady job at an Imitoran firm called Voss and Earl Traders. He was Voss.

Geoff hung up the phone from behind his desk, then scrawled a note on a pad.

12:15-Fish has taken the bait

He tapped a button on the desk and a click uttered form near the door, then it wooshed open and he rolled back his chair. He put his feet on the floor, stood and brushed down his suit.
He picked up his videophone from the sidetable and headed out of the room. As he took a few steps from the door he remembered something, turning and flipping out his phone. Tapping the 3 key the door clicked again, and the glass tinted itself to dark. Then he headed toward the main doorway, flipping open a panel beside it, he proceeded to punch in a code, before leaving. The house seemed to beep too loudly, but that was normal, Geof knew this as he headed to his qudruple garage building. The long white door opened ahead of him revealing his vehicles.
The dodge seemed suitable for a trip into the city, so he opened the door and began driving.
The car spead down the long road into the city, and he pulled up at the base of a huge glass building. The window frames were gold plated so the building shone.

He stepped through the doors and made his way to the 157th floor.

G'morning Geof.

Jesus, nice to see y' man!(yes, he is called Jesus, but not the jesus)

You too Geof, you done your half?

Did you ever doubt me? And one sucker poured in £400K straight away!

Jesus Geof, what did ya string him?

Nothin'! He just gave it in! Mad.

Anyway, how much we got now?

My fugures tell me...£1.02 Million.

SHIT! A million Geof, this is big.

G, this was allways big, before you started this was big! Now we just have to get the rest from them. You make the call.

Do we need the rest? We have a Million.

YES! Look, we pass it on, we get more back, we give them less back-we end up quids in.

Ok, so I go meet this Brett guy, you handle the girl?

Fine.

C'ya G

Geof headed for the lift and went to the ground floor. Steping out into the street he made his way to Diva's Coffee Bar Where he would meet Casandra Knorbaker.

13 year old Arthur Spahn sat in a train compartment as the train started its way into the city.
He was alone, and he was happy. He was wearing a black hoodie over a gray t-shirt, along with dark jean two sizes to big. Beside him was his personal bodyguard, Jack Blake. Jack was wearing a black trenchcoat, though it was hardly enough to cover his bulging muscles. Both of them had on sunglasses. Personally, Arthur couldn't wait to get out of the clothes he had on, and get into some real clothes.

Stupid street clothes He thought to himself Only rats, and bums wear these

A knock was at the door, and as quick as lightning Jack had his hand in his coat, feeling the pistol.
"Calm down," Arthur said, and with hesitation he said. "Come in."
A lady with a beutiful smile opened the door.
"Hello, is there anything I can get for you," She asked. "Maybe the boy would like a chocolate milk?"
Arthur's temper rose. "I am not a boy, I am a young adult."
"Oh, I am sorry, what would you like?" She asked, her smile a little shaken at his voice.
"I want spring water, and no ice, becuase no doubt you make your ice from tap water, and that would defeat the whole purpose of spring water wouldn't it?"
"Yes sir," She said going through her cart. "Anything else?"
"Jack?" Arthur asked his body guard.
The guard just shook his head no.

The lady had left.
"You don't have to be so aggressive," Jack said.
"I am not the one who nearly shot her was I?" Arthur countered.
"Of course sir," Jack said.

The train pulled to a stop, and Arthur and Jack got off, Arthur was about 5' 8", and Jack was nearly seven feet.
They had come to the city becuase of some big scam, Arthur had picked up a number of phone calls on his computer, and he decided to call the man up. The man's name was Geoffry, and Arthur said he would meet him in the Jewel Resturaunt to talk about this money earning plot.

It was earlier that Casandra usually got up, but this time it was different. She sat in Diva's Coffee Bar wairing a black blouse and a black short shirt. Her nails were just done and hair done to perfection. She wore glasses to attempt to intimidate whom ever she was told to meet. In her breifcase was the money. She drank coffee until a man arrived.

"Are you who I'm meeting here?"

"No, I'm your worst nightmare. You better be here to break the deal."

"Ah, the PI. How about i pay you 10 grand, slap you, and then you leave."

"Shut up and listen. This deal goes down you go to jail."

"Sure." Casandra saidsmashing the PI's bug after he left. "Try and listen now."

A while later a rather nice car swept into the parking lot. A somewhat large man exited. He came right over to her and said, "Hello, I'm Geoff."

"So sir," Jacks aid. "When will this Geoff be coming?"
"In a little while, it appears he is having another lunch with someone else. So order what you want."

Good morning Miss Knorbaker, I see you met Simon. Excuse me one moment if you will.
He flipped out his video phone and focussed it on his face, tapping in a few numbers.
He smiled and spoke as the phone connected,

Good morning Master Spahn, I apologise for my absence, I got held up on the 57th so all my meetings for the day are pushed back a little. Now, I don't know how much money you have on you, so I have arranged for the chef, Mr Frencsi to get whatever you want. Also the wine list is your own./ Please enjoy yourself, and I will be with you soon

"So?" The waitress said coming back. "What would you like to drink?"
"I will take a glass of Tea," Arthur said.
"And I will take a cofee," Blake said.
"Very well, and what would you like to order?"
"Caviar," Spahn answered quickly. "And a salad, with Italian dressing."
Before I was hired for Mr. Spahn I thought I would never see a thirteen year old kid order caviar. Jack Blake thought.
"And for you sir?" She asked.
"I would like a sald, with ranch dressing," He answered.
"Ok," She part smiled, and walked off.

"So how do I fix this."

She knew time wouldn't heal this so she hoped her boss knew what he was doing. Now she would have to take cre of this annoying PI. He walked into her office and grabbed the revolver.

Down in the company garage she saw a dark figure prying open her car. He shattered the window. She was furious.

"Stop right there!"

"Ah, Casandra, we meet again but--" he was cut off as Casandra fired the gun. She knew he was dead so she took one of the armored trucks used for transactions and dumped the body in a river. She wondered what would come of her.

His action was mirrored by the other three cars in pursuit untill the Pheonix District Chopper showed up with its revolving cannon threatening its prey. As they passed out of the city the permission was given to fire on the chopper to bring it down, so the cannon began to spin. Spraying bullets toward the speeding enemy. Then a splash of red blood erupted from the side of the young mans helicopter...

Crime & Punishment:Shoot To Kill.
Only £5.99

As he looked back over his shoulder he felt his shoulder slam into that of another person.
He turned angrily, his eyes quinting and saw a woman standing there. Cassandra.
"You. Come with me, NOW"
Cassandra allmost stammered something out of her pursed lips, but she was dragged away pretty quickly by her right arm.
As they headed through several short alies, switching streets and dodging traffic Geof muttered to himself;
Damnit, you idiot!
He muttered phrases like that all the way. All the way to the small cofee shop that they sat in.
Two large city bins lay across the doorway, so it was hard to get in. But, once inside the waiter made Cassandra feel like going straight back out. A large man with sweat on his forehead and a black and white striped T-Shirt, showing off a tyre of his belly.
"Franky, a little peice please" Said Geof as he walked past the man, who nodded quiantly.

"Right, Cassandra-You idiot, you killed a cop. I know you killed a cop beacause he was my cop! I knew him, very well. But that doesn't matter now, he's dead and you're a criminal." Geof turned,
"Franky, some peice!" he yelled at the fat man leering over the counter at them.
"Now"He stuttered, turning back Cassandra, "I am happy for you to go down, hell, I have your cash I don't need you now. But i don't want to. I wan't to play a little game. Do you like games Cassandra?"
Cassandra nodded from across the table, it was obvious whe was still unsure about her safety.
"Right. Now, I am going to explain the rules. You do what I tell you, you get my testimony, which I have prepared especialy to do what you will with, and also a video of you getting in the car, and later you tossing the body of a dead cop into the river. Your face features on this film. You don't do what I ask, they get me and the evidence. You don't do it when I tell you, they get me and the evidence. You don't do it right, or you screw up in ANY way, they get me and the evidence. You understand Cassandra?" Geof spoke, without removing his eyes from a fixed stare at hers. Even as he awaited a reply he did not flinch.

Casandra smiled as she bagan her reply
"Your cop? Well then let me explain the real rules of this game Geoff. You cover it up, keep doing buisness with me and pretend like this never happened or I screw you. I leave the country in less that two days. I have the power to buy you out by using my company. You are the one powerless Geoff. I told you I like games, the buisness we're doing is a game to me. It's mere pocket change! You even try and screw me and I'll screw you, but oops, you have tried to screw me! I'll give you one more chance to fix this before I make your life hell."

Casandra got up and left Geoff sitting at the table. She returned to her new car, the old one was destroyed. Once back at the office she explained the situation to her boss.

"Game indeed. Lets have a little fun shall we. They have nothing on the company and nothing on you. Sounds like we're on the offense here and its time to score."

Casandra went to pack her things as she flew out on her private jet back to her home out of the country. Check and mate Geoff she thought as the plane soared to unimaginable hights.

OOC:Shit, time to re-think the storyline completely. Damnit.

IC:
*As Cassandra leaves*

Geof stood from his table and headed to Franky, tapping his fingers togethor inpatiantly.

"Your boys got her?" he said, trying to keep his voice down.

"Of Course Geof, do I ever let you down?" Good man Franky, your a good man. I gotta go, thanks again-I won't forget it.

Geof left the shop and got into his car which was conveniantly parked at the end of the ally, like he planned this. He clicked the door open and and got in, his wheels spinning as he tore away from the curb. Ahead of him he saw a car being followed by three motorbikes. Three Biker Clan members of Franky's club were following Cassandra, just like he asked.
He flipped a switch behind the wheel and a wood apnnel below the radio turned round slowly. On it was a small microphone and an ear peice. Geof tapped a small blue button beside the ear peice and a recorded voice pipped at him;
"Speaker-Phone Activated"
Geof felt a little strange, but he replied to the voice,
"Dial Dave" he said, keeping his eyes on the road.
The phone speaker began ringing, and then it clicked.
"Hello, Geof what is it?"

Dave, Hi. Are you on?

Sure I am. She just called, she's en-route now.

I know, I'm behind her.

Ok, gotta go-flight crew need, service." Dave hung up.

Lets go Geof thought to himself as Cassandra turned a corner towards her office block, then into the car parking lot.

Geof slowed untill she was gone and then pulled over, about 100 yards from the entrance. From arround the corner 4 large trucks rolled out, painted in black with the letters GM Intertwined on the sides. From the back of the trucks men in armour began filing out. They didn't stop to talk to Geof, they just checked their guns and headed in. One group stayed by the barrier to the parking lot, and the others headed to the entrance.
They sprant through the revolving door, scanning the lobby with their automatic weapons and yelling,
"On the floor, ON THE FLOOR!" alot.
many employees complied, but those who didn't where helped down, cuffed and bundled outside. One troop approached the receptionist and aimed his weapon to her chest;
"Where's Cassandra [Surname] work!? Office now!" he screemed at her face, lighting up the laser on his gun and flashing it in her eyes.
"NOW" he yelled as she fumbled through he books.

OOC-I DO NOT want to kill Cassandra, she can get away, from the office but I need to get her boss out of this, so he has to go-dead or alive.

OOC: I am assuming this is not the way the plot was intended but thats RPing for ya!

IC: Up far above where the comotion was guards escorted Casandra's boss out the fire escape. They knew Casandra was safe and would take the company over if her boss were ever to die but it was the guards job to make sure he didn't. Several stories below they led him into an armored truck and headed for the airport as well.

Far above them Casandra's cell phone rang. She answered it and heard her boss on the other end. He told her what was happening and where she would meet him back in Largent. Once again he had a plan up his sleeve. There was a click on the other end as he hung up.

Back down in Pablocosta Casandra's boss jumped into a small car he stole from some poor fellow. The guards however were still driving the trucks. The trucks now had time bombs on the bottom. As the guards sped towards an intersection they swerved and dived out as the truck exploded. They hoped they were being taled because now that fellow with the gun would think their boss was dead. Little would he know that he was ready to fly to Largent in mere minutes.

OOC: Did you mean to say that you have men on Casandra's plane or did I misunderstand your post?

OOC-DAMNIT! Another damned story re-think. Considering this RP is one of a series that will start with Geof and his "crew", its going very badly. lol. Yeah, I do have men on Cassandra's plane, but she DOES NOT, AND CAN NOT KNOW THAT!!!! Not untill I say so anyhow, otherwhise the whole re-think of the re-thinked story is in vain. Grrrrrrrrrr. You do this to raise my blood pressure don't you!

Also, can you explain how the boss got away, past an arrangement of armed troops and large vans???

I am also dis-regarding your claim to time bombing my trucks as a blatant Godmod. thankyou.

IC-

The troops put pedal to metal in the trucks, which had enormous engines for this purpose. They pulled side to side with the stolen car, which did not resemble anything quick enough to get away and began nudging it. It reered from side to side, bouncing off each truck respectively. Then it managed to straighten up, with its radiator and side doors heavily bashed. Three men in the back of the trucks put on CQ (Close Quarters) protection gear and slid open the door on the side of the vehicle. The driver pulled the door level to the rear door of the stolen vehicle, whih was hanging on loosely allready. A shot to the hinge at the bottom wnsured it fell in a sparky descencion to the rough ground. Immediatley the three troops dived over the gap and into the adjacent car, rolling and aiming weapons at the driver. The Boss. In each vehicle, either side of Cassandra's boss the drivers picked up the speed and leveled the door on the truck to the front door on the stolen vehicle.
They opened fire.
Shattered glass and blood streaked onto the road behind the vehicles, as it began to slow...

OOC-Lets freeze Cassandra in your reply please, I will make a responce to Cassandra's escapades after school.

Thanks.

OOC: How did the boss escape? Fire escapes that run down the sides of buildings incase of fires. You never said men were stationed outside the building. As for the bombing, ya godmod but whatever I have a nongodmod plan B if the boss dies which he did so I guess its plan B unless you kill or detain Casandra which you may do since you have men absolutly everywhere. *cough*which is just as big a godmod as the car bombing which is why I did it*cough*

IC: The boss died...

OOC-Its not a GODMOD. Like I said, this RP was meant to be mainly a build up, to introdce the power That Geof has. He works like a Mafia Boss, but he can et men into any infrastrucure in the City, and possibly Nation. Anyway, All you know of so far is the fact I have a Pilot, Geof, Jesus (What might he be upto, thats why he's out of the story for a while) and a few hired guys with armour and guns. Not a Godmod really.

IC-

The vehicles slow at the same rate as the now free-wheeling car, as the passengers leap across the road gap into their armoured black trucks. one guy slips the dead mans foot over the accelerator pedal as he leaves, and the car begins to pick up pace. It speeds ahead of the trucks, which turn down a smaller road to the left, heading out towards the bay. The guys on-board screemed wildly as satchel pack on the rear seat exploded, throwing the car across a cross-roads and into a delivery van.

=============

The plane rose above the thin cloud cover which signalled they had reached 10,000ft, and Dave leveled the plane a little. He glanced out of the window to his left, and saw the three black trucks pulling into the bay at Great Lake. He turned back and checked the flight direction,
Everything seems okay he thought to himself, as he felt in his pocket for his pistol.
Right He spoke softly as he clicked the pistol and placed it in his pocket. He tapped a few buttons on the roof of the cabin, and headed back into the seating area.
Good evening Mrs Knorbacker. How is the flight for you?
20-03-2004, 14:06
But she didnt get a chance to answer because at that exact moment a leprechaun splatted on the windscreen of the plane, bags of gold in hand. Then he slid off and left a bloody smear on the window. They ignored him, and carried on. 'So...... how is your flight?'

[OOC: Sorry about typing this on your thread Pablicosta. What did you do wrong Squirrels? You spammed it up. In my Matrix thread you started as a dog, and took over others characters in your posts. Like I said earilier, nothing is wrong with a serious RP, in fact my Matrix RP was planned out to be serious, but not everyone thinks that way. You on the other hand thinks everything has to be crazy. If people want them to be silly, let them. RPs are liked movies, there are serious ones, and non serious ones.

Serious- The Passion of Christ
Go and see that movie, adn I doubt you will be wishing Leprechauns were jumping on that screen.

Non serious- Scary Movie III.
Go ahead, watch it, I don't care.

Anyways, sorry Pablicosta, and if I may. Could I join this thread again, as a different character?]

IC: Casandra looked up at the source of the sound. "Fine," she said. She looked out the window and saw exactly what the pilot had seen although she didn't know that. She was concerned by the trucks but thought little of it. She had her instructions, it wasn't going to be at all bad from here. If worse came to worse athorities in her own country could be notified but that was risky, she had a better plan, a plan that wouldn't fail...
