DATELINE: PORT ROYAL, ROYCELANDIA
Today marks an Historic Moment in Roycelandia's history- for decades, the nation has been launching Satellites, Deep-Space Probes, Orbital Weapons Platforms and even a couple of Manned Lunar Missions, but never an actual Space Station.
The reasons for this are irrelevant, partly because until now, we've never had the money, and also because it had never occured to anyone until His Imperial Majesty Emperor Royce I suggested it.
The Space Station, named Starlight, will be fully operational by the end of the month, and is expected to include: A Casino, Living Quarters, 5 Star Accomodation, A SpacePort, Telescope and Research Facilties, Communication Facilities, and whatever else Imperial Aerospace feel like putting on it. The design is modular, allowing for further expansion at a later date.
Construction has been underway for years, and will require regular shuttle services from Roycelandia to maintain the facility.
It is expected that Tourist shuttle flights will being shortly...
