"Where to Draw the Line" Open RP/Multiple characte

02-03-2004, 00:38
The sun has set and it seems to be a wonderful night. All living in the sleepy village of Drame are feeling relaxed. Suddenly, a horrible sound comes from a tower of a castle on a high bluff on the north side of town. A strangled screaming. An intense aura is felt for 300 yards surrounding the tower. Sailors begin to feel drawn to the tower as if it is a lighthouse. Every person in the town is on his or her feet at once. A feeling of pure sexual tension passes through the village. Something is trapped in that tower, something that needs out. There is a sound of evil laughter and another tortured scream.

OOC: introduce any/all character(s) you will be playing up front. Explain any 'need-to-know' details. The main villian in this RP is pre-decided (Khalis, played by Ochiudo).. Nobody else can jump in and say "I am the evil villian in the tower blah-blah-blah." And all other RP rules apply, but you can go crazy and pick nearly immortal characters.. Just no Gods or Demi-Gods. I will warn you, if this was a D&D campaign (which it may be in the future) these characters would be at least level 30. (Meaning that although the characters are very strong, they are still vulnerable and mortal) Examples of acceptable characters (as already determined) are Half-Erinyes (Devil form of Succubus)/Half-Wind Elemental, Half-Black Dragon/Half Devil, Elvish Vampiress, Half-Demon/Half-Humans... etc. Please follow my example... And please keep only OOC in italics.. If you want to have any mind-reading, I would suggest you have it in bold....

IC: In the room, Cassandra was held captive. Khalis, her captor, had trapped her in the castle, by making her think that Nayataku (her current lover) was in there. She stupidly believed her ex-client's illusion spells and trickery. Now she was trapped in a doorless, windowless room with no escape. She had escaped her bindings by reverting to her vaporous form, but still she was trapped. There weren't even any cracks in the wall she could slip through. Khalis was a powerful mage, yet he never was quite Cassandra's taste. She threw herself against the wall, strengthening the spell to tempt and attract mortals(OOC: Every self-aware being is vulnerable to this) around her by hightening her sexual need. She screamed again. She needed release. She needed it or she'd die. She didn't know quite how long she could hold out waiting for it. ( OOC: Pre-determined to be one month RP-time.. This RP starts on the end of third day of Cassandra's Captivity)

Trinistia just learned of her husband's death, which happened three days ago. A vampiric priest of the temple of the God of Tyranny, Hextor. The highest priest. Her sire. She learned that Khalis had killed her husband and would rest at nothing but revenge on his death. She gritted her teeth and polymorphed into a cat, slinking off into the darkness toward the last known whereabouts of Khalis: an old castle on the bluff. As she got closer, she felt drawn to the tower, and felt a sexual intenstity known only before during bloodlusts.

CHARACTERS:
Cassandra- Half-Erinyes/Half-Wind Elemental. Cassandra was created in the infernal for one reason: to pleasure any man her Mistress told her to. And that was going fine until she met Nayataku. He was the only one who could satisfy her unearthly needs. And she fell in love with him. Khalis was her last "client" before Nayataku, and Khalis became jealous of Nayataku. Khalis went to Cassandra's mistress to explain what had happened at the same time Nayataku started a war against the Goddess of Fate. Nayataku disappeared, curtesy of Belial, God of the Infernal, and Cassandra (who was Nayataku's second in command) was left to take the fall. And with the wrath of her Mistress added to that, she was run out of the Infernal and took residence on another plain of existance; the mortal plain. Cassandra found and awakened Nayataku from a deep sleep within a mortal's body and together, they began again their War on Fate. They got separated and Khalis used this to his advantage. He lured Cassandra into the castle and is keeping her prisoner there.
Trinistia- Elven Vampiress. Trinistia was born in the land of the elves and fled after her home was invaded by ogres (at age 150). She was made Vampiress on a journey to find her missing family members (at age 180). She fell in love with Dormir, the human priest who sired her, and soon the two were wed. (at age 210) She learned of her husband's death from one of her victims. She knew that Khalis had killed Dormir and she would not rest until her vengence had been accheived.

OOC: ok.. have at it people... This will be Tunz of phun!!!!

The two men sat in the tavern. One hidden under a cloak and robes, the other with chain mail, a helmet, and a scimitar in sheath. The one with robes eyes were closed. He was meditating, then he opened them, glowing blue under his hood. His face was iluminated faintly, it was old, and thoughtful.
The other man with him was young, good looking, and cocky. He was currently watched the waitress as she served another table. Then a strange sensation came over both of them. The young one thoguth it was just him, because of his watching.
"Did you feel that?" The old man asked in a crackled voice.
"Yes I did," The young one said.
"Let us go and see were it came from," The old man said as he stood up. Them young man followed.
"Jebideth, what makes you certain it wasn't just coincidental?" The young one asked.
"Because Taven," Jebideth answered. "I can snse that it wasn't plus I am to old for what you were doing."
They walked into the streets of Drame, and looked at the tower.
"It came from there," Jebideth said.
"Oh, I felt it again," Taven said, smiling.
"Lets go to the tower" Jebideth said beckoning Taven with his hand.
They walked in the direction of the tower, following trails only by the moonlight.

Corior, sleeping in a tent, outside of the city, beside a rock, awoke. He felt a feeling. "Someone is callling," He said to himself. He stood up and looked around, he saw the town, dim little lights glowing from the windows, and then he saw the tower, past the village. 'There," He said, and hiked off, leaving his tent behind.

A strange person looking about 18 years old walks along the road illuminated partially by the crescent moon looming in the velvet blue night sky. His short sandy brown hair is blowing in a slight breeze, but his blue-grey eyes are fixed on the path ahead. He is dressed in a white cotton yakuta bearing the chinese symbols for wind painted in red on the shoulders and back. The yakuta is bound with a red sash, under which the traveler wears white gi pants. A rose coloured silk wrap covers across his chest from left hip up to his right shoulder, leaving a trailing cape-like piece waving in the wind. Tucked in his sash is what looks like an ordinary paper fan, a paper umbrella hangs in a sling on his back. As he walks, he is humming to himself, wearing a broad smile and reflecting the light of good humor in his eyes.

"I love a good walk." He says to himself. Suddenly, a cry peirces the night air.
"Huh?" The traveler spins around seeing that the call came from a castle off in the distance.
"I don't like the sound of that..." He says to himself as he races towards the castle. A dark shillouette, in a velvet sky.

OOC: For those of you who don't already know, the character I'm playing is Craft, a wiccan priest and apprenticed blacksmith. He's a half Crane Demon, but under the crescent moon he is temporarily a human. He is the one character here who isn't an antihero. Craft wants only to protect life unless the life is too far beyond help. He has some interesting powers and weapons, but I'll let you figure those out for yourselves :wink:

Nayataku- once a powerful archfiend, now trapped in this plane in a mortal body. Awakened by the God of Tyranny, Hextor, Nayataku pledged his allegience to him for the rest of eternity. Thanks to his gods intervention, Nayataku's body has mutated to fit his fiendish spirit. he will no longer age, and he has grown claws, more resiliet skin, fangs and wings of golden flame. His Lover, Cassandra seems to be nowhere to be found after he took a short trip to the city of freeport.

Khalis- Half Devil, Half black dragon. He has spent his entire existance in compettion with Nayataku, over Cassandra, for power in Hell, and now for power in the mortal plane. He took the first oppoertunity he got to pay back his debts though, and the torture he puts Cassandra through must be unbearable he knew, and if it were not for a ring of his forging, he too would have succomed to her wiles. But he knew better now, he would use her to bring Nayataku to his knees, and this time it would work...
02-03-2004, 01:36
I'll start with Khalis :twisted: :twisted:

The half dragon teleported into the airtight room, he could not see cassandra, so he assumed she had transformed, he waited for her.
02-03-2004, 01:45
Cassandra saw Khalis and flew around him, surrounding him with her vaporous form. Her voice seemed to call out from everywhere, "Okay, it's been three days since I've had my release. You never could resist me in the past. What is going on? Why don't you let me go?" Her voice would seem irresistable to any mortal who heard her. She didn't know about Khalis' ring. She just kept trying.
02-03-2004, 01:51
He smiled... showing a mouth full of fangs and a forked toungue.

"No more, my dear... I will not give you the release that you so desperately crave. but you can attempt to take it if you wish."

He waited in anticipation, formulating his scheme.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nayataku rushed with all speed when he heard of his master's assasination. He would see justice for this, and he would have Khalis' head this time, no one would stop him, short of the hand of his lord Hextor. He gripped his flail and flew towards the temple. (not the tower, and he isn't aware of Cassandra's plight)
02-03-2004, 01:57
Cassandra screamed. She appeared before him, tackling him, hoping to catch him off balance.

~~~~
Trinistia saw the number of people all heading towards the tower. Then she thought about the temple where her husband was killed. She ran off in the direction of the temple, cautious when she saw Nayataku. She did not know him, all she saw him as was a half-demon. She assumed he was helping Khalis. She would sneak behind him, awaiting his next move...
[double-post deleted]
02-03-2004, 02:16
Khalis allowed her to tackle him, falling with her, landing underneath her.
his smile brodened, the wench was falling right into his plans, and she would pay dearly for it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nayataku landed at the entance. he opeed the door, walked to the alter, and knelt down in prayer.
02-03-2004, 02:28
Cassandra grinned widely. She tore at his clothes, struggling to get them off.
~~~~
Trinistia, seeing Nayataku kneel before the altar, polymorphed back to her humanoid form. She looked around for a weapon to hold, just in case. She found a heavy candlestick holder and sneaked up behind Nayataku. She readied the weapon in her hands.

Taven and Jebideth reached the casstle by midnight. Taven ran up to the front gate, while Jebideth stood fifty feet away.
Pulling out his sword, Taven slashed it across the gate, making a loud clank.
"Open the door!" He called up for anyone to hear. "Let us in!"
Jebideth watched, his eyes still glowing blue under his hood, his brown robes wrapped around him tightly, no one could see any part of his body, just blue eyes staring.

--------------

Corior ran over a hill, an hour after the other two arrived. He saw them at the gate, one was sitting down, and the other was standing still, robes wrapped taut.
He ran down towards them and asked.
"What is going on here?"
The one in robes turned to reveal glowing blue eyes. "We wish that we knew that answer. Currentlty we are wating for a reply from this tower."
03-03-2004, 02:53
A deep rumbling voice from within the gates answers. you can't tell what it is, but whatever it is, its large.

"Vengence from Our Lord" is all it speaks
--------------------------------------------

Nayataku finished his prayer and rose. the quiet of temple seemed odd to him, not even a guard in site. "Where is everyone," he thought aloud.
--------------------------------

Khalis laughed at her desperation and merely placed his hand over her face. (Inflict moderate) Not enough to do serious harm, but enough to spite her pretty little face. He then casts another spell. (hold person)
03-03-2004, 23:26
Cassandra grimaced in pain at the first spell and that grimace froze with the second. She growled at Khalis through her teeth.
~~~~
Trinistia held the candlestick high above her head, preparing to smash it down on his head. "My husband would be mad at you for intruding into the sanctity of his temple. He was very strict about who he let in," She spoke softly, a mild warning. Then she brought the candlestick down with all her strength.
