[OOC: Now this thread is a new type, the first of the type. I plan on it being the first of a bunch of threads, not all created by me, but by everyone who wants to. In this thread the setting is a military/police academy.
You are a rookie, who is new at the academy, and in time you will undergo training, to protect the people of Helliath. You can choose to be one of many races, of which are the following.
Elf- The most common race, stands at three feet. Always fair in appearance, athletic, and agile. Notable for their pointy ears Best occupation for elves are: Scout, Medic, soldier.
Dwarf-The diggers, they are about 2-3 feet in hieght, and are usually fat, and strong. They are not very good appearance at all. All males have beards. Best occupation for dwarves: Heavy Combat unit, soldier, demolitions.
Gnomes-The geniuses of the races. They are about the same height as dwarves, but are much better looking, usually have a mustach, or beard. They are smart clever, and quick thinking. Best occupation for gnomes: Field Tech, Hacker, scout, soldier.
Faries- Second most common race, look like elves, but have insect like wings. Three feet tall, and are usually agile, and quick. Best occupation for faries: Scout, tech, soldier.
Pixie- Another race of farie, they appear to be elvish, but have feline apperances, more agile and quick than elves and faries, have no wings. They to are about three feet tall. Best occupation for Pixie: Tech, scout, hacker, medic.
Dentraii: 3-4 feet tall. They look like humans, but have a noticable monkey tail. They are agile, and strong. Best occupation for Dentraii: Scout, Soldier, heavy combat unit.
Goblin- Most golbins are naturally evil at heart, but there are some good ones. They are usually strong, they have green skin, and red cat eyes. Their noses are slits, and their mouths go from one side of the face to the other, usually with about two sharp teeth sticking out on each end.
Those are the races. The jobs are pretty simple and self explanitory. So let me get started.]
Commander Jorsqe, and elf, stood in the control room, which was on a tower overlooking the entire academy. With plains to the west, forests and mountains to the east, and beaches and an ocean to the north it was the perfect place to train people in all types of fields.
"Sir," A tech said at a station.
"Yes?" The commander asked.
"The newest group of students have arrived," The gnome said in his chair.
"Good," The commander said.
The the three hovercopters landed, and all the students got out. Hovercopters appear to be a helicopter, but have no blades anywhere, they instead have engines on the back of the tail, that moves them around.
All the students walked to the side of the big asphalt landing area, two Majors walked up to the group.
"Greetings," One said. "Today is your first day of training!"
