Elections in Japann

Japann
01-03-2004, 08:13
After extensive rebuilding from the Sino-Japannese War II and the presumed death of former Prime Minister Akibura, the Emperor has announced the elections which will give Japan it's first new Prime Minister for 8 years.

Liberal Democratic Party
Lee Teng hui
Japan's dominant political party for more than 40 years. Despite its name, the party's base has long been conservative, ranging from pro-Imperial rightists to big business groups. From 1955 to 1993, the LDP dominated Japanese politics using a mix of pork-barrel politics and status quo policies that protected business interests. However, as the country's economic problems became more intractable, voters became disillusioned with the LDP and in 1993, the party failed to achieve a majority in parliament, losing to Akibura's Communist Party.

In 2004 after the loss of the war and the tragic bombing of an LDP meeting which killed many high ranked ministers, Lee Teng Hui took the mantle of leadership, having years of experience behind him as President of Taiwan. Lee Teng Hui was born in Taiwan, but spend much of his childhood in Japan, and grew an affinity for it.

Communist Party
Satoshi Yamakura
One of the oldest political parties in Japan, it was founded in 1922 as an underground group. Until recently the party had been somewhat marginalized in Japanese politics, taking unpopular stances on a number of issues – such as its opposition to the U.S.–Japan security alliance.

In 1993 after almost a decade of economic depression, voters flocked to the Communist Party's ultranationalist policies. Akibura was both charasmatic and intelligient - he could sway entire crowds with a speech.

Democratic Party
Naoto Kan
Founded in 1996 from members of the Social Democratic Party and Shin-to Sakigake. In 1997, after the dissolution of the New Frontier Party (Shinshin-to), the Democratic Party became the largest opposition group in the Diet, Japan's bicameral legislature. In April 1998, the party picked up more members merging with three other smaller parties. Led by the charismatic Naoto Kan, the Democrats were the biggest winners in the July 1998 upper house elections, picking up nine seats for a total of 27. Kan, perhaps the most popular politician in the country, led the fight to pull the plug on the LDP's Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto. The party's views tend to be progressive and centrist, seeking more open markets, greater deregulation and greater tax cuts.

Once again, a dial of the phone has made it into ROTA (Republic of _Taiwan Army) Maj. Gen. Zhang's office.

General Liu waits patiently for the answer.

"I need uniforms, General. I need uniforms." General Liu's mind drifts towards the objective.

General Liu's Personal Armory (undisclosed location): 1143 Hours

In a vast warehouse with large lights dangling off the roof, the General pries open (with a crowbar) a crate of old pistols, old pistols that he had seldom used, seldom as they were either confiscated or captured from enemy troops. He rummages through the dusty old box with his busy hands, like a boy in a candy store. Only that this is no candy store and there will be some very serious business. Old Type 54s (Tokarev TT1933s) mixed curiously with M1911 .45s. Some pistols had their clips attached, some don't. Despite their age, none were rusty.

Alas, he gets what he has come for. Some Taiwanese T75s (Beretta M92FS) 9mms. He picks up two and tucked them into his trousers, professional hands working rather unprofessionally. He takes the third, and checks it. As usual, safety off hammer back. He contnues to rummage quickly finds a T51 (M1911A1) .45. He quickly added his newly acquired items to the pushcart. Already in there is a couple of M16A1s, two T65K3s assault rifles (standard ROCA issue), a pair of T77 SMGs, and a H&K PSG-1 sniper rifle partnered by its SIG SSG2000 counterpart. All of them still have their Taiwanese serial numbers, despite being under the General’s ownership.

Seeing that he’s just about done, the General pushes the cart on, to the exit and out into the awaiting helicopter.

“Haven’t seen you with so much American equipment in a helluva long time, sir.” The secretary awaited, standing steely at attention as the General loads up the goods.

“At ease, soldier.” The General replied. “They’re Taiwanese. Some of these were made by hands that belonged to our race but were barred to admit their true nationality.”

"Uniforms? Yes I can arrange that."

"We need dogtags too, General." The General continued, as the fun and laughter were over.

"We need some genuine I.D. of the ROTA and ROTMC, preferably 40 for me and my men. Don't worry about the rank... just keep that structure maintained." He continues as if giving orders.

"... Now, about helmets, please get soem that are genuine as even the grade of steel is different."

"General Liu is a genocidal and ultranationalist maniac who refuses to accept the fact that Taiwan is not part of China."

President Chen Shui Bian

Chen Shui Bien along with his whore- Lee Tung Hui, are slaves to Japanese imperialism. They have refused, for too long to admit to who they really are. Chen only knows of leadership as having a combover on his head and a suit over his skin. Chen is also a wimp, considering his absolute lack of attention when Bonstock invaded and created state of toture known as Maropian Coast.

How am I genocidal? I like to kill those who are enemies of the Armed Republic and its aims, the enemies of the Chinese people and most certainly, those subhuman communist and liberal scums that plague the essence and power of our militant nationalism. Misguided as some of these vermins may be but we will help to seek and understand the truth as much as we have to.

The ones that we want to kill in Taiwan are not the Chinese or those who are unsure and misguided, but those who strongly refer to Taiwan being a separate entity to China, the ones who do not see themselves as Chinese. The ones we are talking about are the dogs of Japan, the enemy from within. They look Chinese, they speak Chinese, but they are not Chinese for they see the destiny of our Taiwan out off the protection and care of China. They see that Taiwan belongs to Japan! These are nothing more than the product of Japanese bastardization of our fine race! If blood shall be spilt, it will be blood of the separatists that shall be offered as a sacrifice on the altar of Chinese nationalism!
