IC: In the shadow of the magnificent structure home to the world's most renowned and secret science convention. The greatest minds of the world gather hear to reveal their most prized work. Russell Motomba filed in with the rest trying to catch a glimpse of Bernardo Verta, his idol and an amazing man. The convention had begun the day before but today the work was revealed. The first day was always dedicated to cerimonies and things Motomba hated. He was unbeareably anxious to view his idol's work. Once he entered through the massive, automated, glass doors they were halted by the police. Motomba asked what was going on and he received the answer "Mr. Verta has been murdered." Murdered! Who would do such a thing? No sooner had he asked the question when a short round man named Dr. Febluwitz, the director of the event who usually remained unseen, came out to fetch Russell Motomba.
"We need someone of your expertise," he said.
"Expertise? I'm a historian," Motomba replied.
"Which is why I need you," When they had entered the building the sight of Verta made Motomba sick. His body had been made into Swiss Cheese from stab wounds and he was no longer wearing a shirt. Febluwitz introduced Motomba to several men, "These men are professional symbologits, you should see something," Febluwitz then rolled over the body. On its back was a tatoo covered in dry blood. It was cut extremley deep and had bled in extreme amounts. "Doctors say this was the cause of death, the other stab wounds were torture but not fatal. The symbologists say this is ancient style but can't identify it. You study history, have you ever seen anything like this?"
Motomba thought for a moment then said, in a low fear-filled voice, "Yes, this is ancient. It is a style used in the west during the very early Roman period. It was used by many people but no two symbols were the same, even that similar. This is in the shape of a dagger with a symbol on it I have never seen. This type of thing was used by cults quite commonly after Ceasar's death and you may imagine why. This one however was used long before that. It may even date back before this style became popular." after careful examination Motomba found ink, "Its a tatoo!" A long silence followed. This moment was beyond words.
