As several of you may know, Isla de Penguinata has experienced a brief time of absence and isolation. This nation is so old, and I had been so sick of RPing with this nation alone. Therefore, I moved on, and kept this nation alive in hope that I would return it back to the forums one day. And that day is today.

I have long thought that the intensity of IdP's past, and the political instability have made it too boggy and messy. However, now I realize that it has made this country beautiful. I have abandoned many allies, and I apologize for it. The old members of the RGGA, and others, have stood by my side. I will now stand by theirs, with the first plan of action being to re-introduce all diplomatic relations. The following nations are the ones I am talking about:

I am returning IdP to the world stage. I left it as a nation of elves, which was ridiculously impossible. I have no story for the downfall of this elven kingdom because, well...nevermind. :P Anyway, the nation's clock is set in the year 2035, and I will post details below. The Presidential Cabinet will also be displayed below. I hate doing this...now I have to search google far and wide to get some decent pictures of people. :P

I know my return will be met with happiness and hatred, and I can only hope that it was reap more rewards than consequences. However, when I left, the only enemies I had were those of The Reich, though no military conflict ocurred. Speaking of military...I'll post that later in this thread.

I have to apologize deeply to Ferrussia and Fyreheart for bailing out on them like I did in the middle of two large conflicts. I really do feel bad about it, and I hope I can be forgiven. :(

Anyway, I'll post the IC part after this post is finished and I send the link to some old friends. :)

The United Republic of Isla de Penguinata
The year is 2035, and a world power has returned.

The United Republic of Isla de Penguinata is a vast land of wilderness and urban paradise. Nearly as large as the continental United States, the large landmass is situated in the Atlantic Ocean, far from any other inhabited area.

Brief History Since 2015
For the past twenty years, Isla de Penguinata had been ruled by Elven monarchs, who planned to continue their oppressive social changes to turn all Penguinatans into elves. Many would not stand for it, and raided the Palace of Elandor, ejecting the monarchy and killing the entire Royal Family. Anarchy ensued, and in 2023, IdP ceased to exist as a full nation.

It continued for about five years, until Amir Voltaire, a former diplomat under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sought to settle the problems immediately. See the above map for references to locations.

Amir Voltaire was living in New Chokai at the time, and nearby New Elandor was neutral in all the conflict, though it was suspected that militant factions of Arundemont were secretly running the government, or what was left it, there. Voltaire immediately uncovered the Arundemontian puppetizing, and New Elandor citizens revolted, and joined Voltaire. He went on, and push his way northward until Arundemont was under his control. Finally, when all of the mainland came under his control, he severely bombarded Kaiwu and the island it rests on. He enacted a blockade of the island until militant groups there surrendered.

In 2031, Voltaire was elected President of Isla de Penguinata. Since then, he has made rapid and radical changes to the country, and has restored it to former power. Through Voltaire's policies, democracy in the nation will survive for generations.

The United Republic of Isla de Penguinata is proud to host a World Factbook Entry, provided by all our ministries working with one another. Our message is Peace, Equality, Fraternity. Forever will Isla de Penguinata work to change the world, for the better. Quickly we shall come to aid our old allies and friends, and quickly shall we eradicate threats to this Earth. The Empire of the Eternal Dawn once again extends the hand of friendship to Isle de Penguinata, despite the fact that contact between our two states has been limited, and only fairly recently did such contact, in fact, take place.

However, the Empire wishes to announce that it has upgraded the IdP trade status from 'Non-existant' to 'Regulated', as a show of good faith.

We would also like to bring to the attention of Isle de Penguinata our proposal regarding the pending creation of a new 'Alliance', the Alliance of Harmony and Stability (ASH) - although the term is, in fact, a misnomer - of which details are readily available.

I am to be a small nation that was formed after the collapse of the old Proletarian Revolution and I will keep some of the weapons that that nation left behiind.
