Ok, for those of you who know...Edmund Dantes is the leader of my Nation, Tersanctus. Ive grown tired of the Character. Kungshao is the Dragon-God of War. Edmund Incarnated him, yadda yada yada...Its as close to god-modding as you can get without actually Godmodding.
So should I get rid of Kungshao and Edmund?
Should I keep the God, or toss him aside like a wet kleenex?
Or keep him, because lots of other folk claim to have elves and the like?
Or become a normal everday nation, with believable human Characters?
Vote lemme know your thoughts.

You should run your nation in the way that gives you the most fun and enjoyment. That's what NS is all about.
If you are tired of the character get rid of it, and try something different. If you like the character then continue with it.
Don't ask others to choose for you. It's your nation. Your fun. Your choice.

Why choose?
In the "Colony in Turmoil" thread, I had several characters refer to Dantes' madness in this matter. Why not do it that way?
Keep a story line going with Edmund imagining that he's Kungshao, complete with conversations with the other characters. If you assume he's crazy, then everything anyone says to him will be filtered through his monomania. Follow each post with the same post from the point of view of the non-insane people Dantes interacts with.
You could even go back and "translate" the existing threads from this point of view.
Another option would be to assume Kas is a Rasputin-type character who is manipulating Edmund's fragile mental state with drugs and/or hypnosis, and gradually gathering power for himself.
Either way would be a lot of work, but better than simply throwing away all the writing you've been doing.
