Xanthalian Earth is the nation that formerly covered the NS Earth continent of Zithal. The Xanthalian government moved its people off Earth though, so now the continent of Zithal is uninhabited and up for sale to the highest bidder. The continent is approximately 70,000 square kilometers in size and is located about 1,000 miles east of Australia.

Reasons to buy:
-Cities and transportation systems are predeveloped. You can move your people right in.
-Equipped for both modern and future nations (it has stuff for both, so choose one and demolish the rest).
-Over 200 surrounding islands of various sizes.
-Natural harbours for surface vessels.

Reasons not to buy:
-No people will be transferred to your control. Ignore the population of "Xanthalian Earth".
-Zithal is a mostly-desert continent, only fertile on the coasts.

Xanthal is the main nation, and we'll be arbitrating the sale. The auction starts now. Minimum bid is $100,000,000,000 USD. The auction ends on 3/2/2004 at 12:01 A.M.

Yeah. Actually, this thread only exists because of my IC actions. Xanthal is renouncing its claim on Earth, and since Earth is a place where property is in heavy demand they thought it would be smart to make some money on it rather than just leaving it.

The Most Glorious Hack: Setting the population to 0 would be fine, if that's what you want to do. In fact, while you're at it, why not set Xanthal's population ahead by 100 million people? That would bring it into synch with where it should be. Early in my nation's life a forum error set me back a week and I lost a big chunk of my population. Well, small at the time, but you know how this exponential growth thing works. It ended up putting me back by quite a bit. At the time, a moderator told me that my population couldn't be fixed. If it can now, that would be much appreciated.

The land is being sold as a unit. If you want a part of it, you must inquire with the buyer once it is sold.

Actually, yes. Unfortunately, all the threads with the image on them died long ago and I no longer have the file; nor do remember where the image was stored online. Therefore, I'll let you choose from two options regarding that.
1: I will make a new map from memory and post it within the next few days.
2: You can make a new one up.

Magnus Valerius: Zithal (Xanthalian Earth) was the only land the Socialist Republic owned on planet Earth. At the moment, no plans exist to sell any land in either of the two solar systems currently under our control.
