Due to a recent insability seen in the nation of Calarca and the collapse of the government due to Anarchy. It is with great reluctance that I anounce as both an ally of the former nation of Calarca, and as the Outer Consul of the Federated Klatchian Coast a protectoriate over all assets, designs, and possessions of the nation of Calarca.

It is the goal of the Federation to preserve the nation until the people of Calarca have once again established a working government that will allow their people to rule themselves. I should note that several taskforces of Alconian and Joint Defense Force navies have been sent to protect the island nation. I ask that all nations understand that at no time does the Dual Duchy or the Federation assume ownership of Calarcian assets.

OOC: Calarca's player has been out of school for three months. I thought he had someone minding the store. Obviously not; therefore since I (and several others) do expect his return (hopefully soon), I ask all other players not to mess with his nation or assets.
(I assume that he has lost computer access on the farm.)

This post is in response to some comments elsewhere that I found disturbing. So no...grabbing something of Calarca's and run...he spent a good deal of time and effort in designing his nation, his ships, and his Rp's. Again, I personally hope for his return and do not have aims upon his nation. I just bumped the thread because I needed to save the stats on a few of his ship designs I use. :?

OOC: There's been major flooding in New Zealand over the last couple of days, so I think that might be what's keeping him.

OOC: Yep, all through the upper half of the North Island. This is the sort of flooding one expects to see in Third World Nations, not New Zealand.

I didn't know Calarca was also a Kiwi.

B: He has had to have been out of it for more that what 27 days. So the flooding may be part, but not all of the problem.

(Ah, not to worry- if anyone were to over-run Calarcan assets in the modern era we'd just kill their grandparents before they meet.. ;) For now though -ANCAT assigns Calarca's Atlantic cruiser squadron to the most dangerous waters off occupied Europe while RWN vessels turn their attention to.. guarding cod stocks and such-)

The Regent of Calarca decries the sudden shifting of resources to unfairly place a burden on the poor people of Calarca who's high command has suffered a temporary loss of communications.
