Triumverate of Roubhe
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 17:10
Macleod, the representative of Feazanthia, sat in a padded armchair around a triangular table. He waited patiently for the other delegates to arrive.
((Please note, this is a PRIVATE RP for those nations that are in the Roubhe region))

Abbadon arrived then, scar running down his eye and an eyepatch over that eye. He was in his ceremonial black robes, hood over the robes. He sat down in another of the chairs in silence.

Macleod smiled.
"Good morning, sir. I trust from your robes that you are from the nation of Kikoskriat?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:19
Abbadon nodded.
"...I am emporer Abbadon Kikoskia of Kikoskriat, yes. You must be the leader of Feazanthia, correct?" He was analysing this person.

28-02-2004, 17:21
Macleod froze slightly at the term 'emperor'.
"Feaz C. Macleod, president elect of Feazanthia."
He held out his hand, keeping the false smile of a politician on his face.

Abbadon didn't smile as he shook his hand.
"...Indeed." He said, sitting back down, mulling over some papers he had brought with him. There was another election next weekend.
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 17:25
"Well, whenever the guy that the Leghatans are sending shows up, we can get this over with."
He too shuffled through some papers, but didn't seem to enthralled with their contents.
"I simply hate these conferences, don't you?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:27
Abbadon, however, took what he was reading with a smile. He enjoyed this, looing over the opnion polls.
"...I find them most intriguing." abbadon told him. He knew that would confuse the man.
Tueras, the "elected" premeir of Leghta, strood into the meeting room, "Good day, gentlemen. I'm the leader of Leghta, as I asume you are both the leaders of your respective countries?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:30
Abbadon looked up at the man, only giving him a little glance before looking back to his papers.
"...I wouldnt' be here if I wasn't." Abbadon commented bluntly.
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 17:31
"I am Feaz C. Macleod from Feazanthia. It is a pleasure, sir."
He shook Tueras' hand at sat back down.
"Now, our first order of business is military strength. Much of Feazanthia's congress wants our three militaries to unite under a single banner. I really have no say in this matter. How about you, gentlemen?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:33
Abbadon looked up to him.
"You are welcome to try," Abbadon told him, "The military of Kikoskriat to say the least. The onll troops you would access of the Avatar Guard." He knew that he had not provided enough details on the Avatar Guard; and that was how he wanted it to remain.
Tueras shrugged, "As you most likely already know, the defense of Leghta is high on the priorities of my control. Military service is compulsory until a certain age. I really have no need to add to my forces for defense... That is unless you are thinking of something other than defense?"
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 17:37
"Well, our military is nothing special either. The most we have are a few cruisers, three bomber wings, some mobile ground forces, and of course our aircraft carrier."
He then smiled.
"Actually, I was. As you know, Feazanthia is not exactly the most hospitable of areas. Our natural resources are starting to dwindle already. Unless you gentlemen are willing to sign a trade agreement of sorts, I recommend we begin expanding our...what is the term? Empire."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:40
Abbadon suddenly grew cold and withdrawn.
"...Kikosktriat will not be involved in a war of ANY kind. We are a peaceful nation that actually managed to CARE for it's natural resources," Abbadon told him, staring at Feaz coldly, "If you want to force people to live under your rule, you do it alone."
Tueras thought about that for several seconds, "We really have no need for more land area or natual resources at the moment, but our population is growing quite dramticly as of late. But, then again, technology is always improving in Leghta. More and more new solutions to our problems are forming... If we had enough money to fund them. Our economy is... struglling, to say the least.
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 17:50
Abbadon looked to the man who had just spoken.
"Money is the root of all evil." Was all he had to say to that.
Tueras looked at him curiously, "Really? You believe so? I believe money is great! It gives power to those only which deserve it! As long as those who don't are kept in balance, one not getting more than another, life truely is perfect."
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 19:23
"We either need to focus on our military strides here or in space. Already numerous nations have large fleets, yet we have none. Either way, in order to advance we need resources with we simply cannot obtain here in Roubhe."
"Where do you sugest we go, then? With only 3 nations of stregth, we would we hard pressed to take over anywhere, even if we tried. We are, unfortunatly, a small region compared to most of the others with sveral dozen nations in them."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 19:28
Abbadon listened. It seemed he had chosen to take cabinet with a group of warmongerers.
"...An who says we should do anything like that?" He asked them, "What is wrong with what we have now?"
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 19:32
"Perhaps you are content to sit here idly whilst the world passes us by, your 'highness', but we are not. We must either expand outward or upward. As our nations grow, we too must grow. There is no other alternative."
His voice had grown stern.
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 19:34
Abbadon did not being ordered about like that.
"...And is there any way to grow without your warmongering ideals coming into play?" Abbadon asked harshly.
I'm sorry Abbadon, but I think he's right. War may not be the right answer but we do need expand out before others get there first. We don't want to be the lowest rung of the ladder at the UN, now do we?"
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 19:38
"Emperor Abbadon, you are part of this alliance as much as either of us. What would you recommend, hmm? What is your idea to solve this problem?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 19:38
"I am not a member of the UN and never shall be." Abbadon told him defiantly, "I recommend that you first deal with your own problems before expanding."
"Thats the whole porblem! The economy in Leghta is horrible at this time and the only way I can see to bring it back up to a respectable area would be to expand into new feilds of sceince. Like Space equpiment, for example."
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 19:56
Macleod held his hand up to Tueras for quiet.
"It is useless. His 'highness' believes that isolationism is the best course of action. He fails to see his own nation's problems, such as his unreasonably high tax rate. If you will not aid us in improving ourselves, then you are no longer part of this alliance."
His tone was decisive.
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 19:59
Abbadon was deathly silent, thinking about all that had been said, about what they were suggesting.
"...There is nothing wrong with my nation. The taxes are there so as to ensure that I can inhibit the multinational co-operations form taking over."
Then, he looked to them.
"And how would a space program ever bring in money?" He asked them, "I only hear of them making losses."
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 20:03
"Believing that one is perfect is usually a sign of a delusional mind," countered Macleod. "And obviously you are not well informed. Some of the strongest nations have gotten that way because of their space programs."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:04
There was a sly smirk on Abbadon's grin.
"...And what is power, Feaz? Is it the obvious power that is all, or the silent hand that sways the entire world?" abbadon said slyly, holding a document in his hand that he was keeping well to himself.
"The is incrsasing needs for more spcae around the would, the popultion is growing very rapidly. popela re looking to space for new places to live, and some have already found some in orbiting spcae staions. It costs a lot of money to maitian a orbiting station like that, however. If we were to create a new type of technology to cut down the costs of maintianing such crafts, that wuld bring ina lot of money, and jobs, to all our countries. We could practicly sell space itslef."
Feazanthia
28-02-2004, 20:07
Macleod's eyes narrowed.
"You are obviously hiding something from us. This is not wise if we are to trust one another."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:07
Abbadon simply grinned, looking throuhg the document. He appeared to be making calculations in his head, not paying anythign else any attention.
"Like you tried to mask your desire for war earlier?" Abbadon counted.
Tueras looked over at him, "What is tyhat doicument you've been keeping so secrete from us? I think you have some explaining to do."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:11
Abbadon put it away.
"...I already HAVE a space program," Abbadon told them simply, "It's a section of the Avatar Guard. I am in the construction of Cruisers underground, away from the isghts of my people. I am also reseraching the possiblities of improvements to the blueprints of my first space station," He got out a file and gave it to them, it containing many blueprints, dossiers and statistics, "Look at it for yourself."
Tueras looked over the document carefully, "From the looks of these, it would seem like your planning a major operation out in space. What are you planning to do with such heavily armed crusiers?"
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:15
Abbadon grinned.
"...Kikoskriat isn't a violent nation, yet it is easy to give off the aura of one. With that fear factor, I could easily get any nation to do what I wanted them to. They would be my puppets..." He explained.
"Sounds to me like your trying to conquer other nations, without them even knowing it." He looked over the document again, "But how did you get the funding for something like this? It must have been amazingly expensive."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:19
"Why else do you think I moulded my nation to despise buisness and the rich? The rich give me thier money through heavy taxes to avoid persecution and all industry is heavily taxed. THAT is where I get my money." Abbadon said.
"So basicly through underhanded dealings." Tueras said under his breath. He then spoke to Abbadon in his full, deep tone, "Your not the man I thought you were, emperor. It seems you want nothing more than power."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:28
Abbadon grinned.
"...It's for the good of the world," Abbadon told them, "I will rule them while they still think they rule themselves. It's a win-win situation."
"Thats insane, your plan'll never work. Some country somehwere wont just submit to fear. There are powers out there more powerful than these ship's your building. Eventually your gonna have to get your hands dirty and thats when you'll fail."
Kikoskriat
28-02-2004, 20:32
Abbadon shook his head.
"Not all I do is fear based. You could say I am the puppeteer that pulls the strings. I have influence in some places that I can manipulate." Abbadon told him.
"Well, the only problem wiht that plan is you just happened to tell both if us it. WHat do you think will stop us from stopping you ourself's?"
