The Stirling Engine!
http://www.kockums.se/Products/Resources/stirling1.jpeg
This engine uses hot air and if researched could esily produce power to power a sub. Why a steriling engine? because their completely silent and almost vibration free! It has one draw back though, it does require a heat source to make it work which is why my nation is asking for the assistance of other nations in helping me build and develop a submarine that uses a sterling engine. My scientists goal is to replace nuclear subs but to do this we must find a reliable long lasting fuel source to power the engine.
