The Gaurdin an idea concevied by need and made possible by the return of High magic, it would stand a monument to the Elven peoples long journey, of their faith in Corellon Larethian and the Seldarine, and protect the City of souls from a threat none had ever forseen, of ships made of Metal that floated. The greatest Craftsmen, forgers, metal workers. Artists acrosss the land would be gathered to commence work on a statue of immense size.
It would take 2 Decades before it was complete, longer perhaps, for elves work slow, every movement planned for days if not weeks. Some would go on journeys to discover inspiration but that was acceptable for the Elves had time. When it was ready through the City of Souls would be... safe, at least against lesser threats.
((OOC Information it will take roughly 20 RT days to complete stand as tall as the Colossus of Rhodes, be made of Pure Bronze, lying down then standing when empowered. Carry Sword and a Bow and be made in the likeness of Corellon Larethian. And before people get scared, this version will be powered by High Magic generated by the Tree of Souls and so unable to go beyond a set radius of my coastline. (About now I'd estimate 550 Miles, unless I have got the Radius mixed up with Diamter of the influance. MUCH MUCH later I may well build an attack version. But that would be Much later.
