{President}Mr John Aerson

President Aerson has been President of Pablicosta for 4 years, seeing him through 2 elections. Through this time he has helped to defend the land by forcing threats away, and by interveening in crucial moments of conflict. It has been stated in several new articles that Mr Aerson has made asubstancial difference to the lifes of Billions, (2.02 Billion to be presice) people through the last four years. Topping national oppinion polls President Aeron is a likely candidate to keep his seat in Office. Things atributed to Mr Aerson include;

Vastly reducing national Obecity,
Improving Education standards,
Funding for a signifiacant military,
The Pardoning of many ill-accused men and women,
Abolition of the death penalty,
Quelling mass riots in a foreign land,
Introduction of the space program.


Mr Jonah Wilhelm

A foreign national Mr Wilhelm only just qualifies to be elected. His history includes fighting for Pablicosta in his younger days, and he claims to have taken part in the reclamation fo the East (Major conflict). His policies include,
Bringing back the death penalty,
Ejection of all immigrants,
Leaving the region of Lancre,
Colonising Mars and/or Venus,
Introduction of a plan to remove Pablicosta from Earth, and then destroy Earth.

Interior, Chairman's Office, Teakland Legislature. The People's Chairman Quincy Teeth sits hunched over his desk, working his way through the jumbo book of logic puzzles. He scratches his head thoughtfully, then flips his long red hair back from over his face. Enter Chief of Staff Darion Franco, a tall middle-aged man in a sky-blue suit, with tan skin and the beginnings of a respectable potbelly.

"Mr. Chairman," he says with a hint of a Spanish accent. "I have news of the utmost urgency."

"Well, sit down and tell me about it," he says, setting his pencil down and gesturing to the chair in front of his desk.

"Sir," Franco began, "there is a man running for the Presidency of Pablicosta on the platform of..." He looks down at his stack of papers, and reads aloud from them. "...'Introduction of a plan to remove Pablicosta from Earth, and then destroy Earth.' "

"Hmmm..." The Chairman scratches his beard and thinks for a moment. "Well, it certainly would make things interesting. Then again, I am a fairly big opponent of blowing up the earth."

"Sir?"

"Send President Aerson our support, Franco."

"Excellent, sir."
