The Republic of Jehova Witness was founded in February of 2004 when independence was claimed and recognized from the People's Republic of Christians. The Jehova's (as they are called) formed a small state-like nation and named J. Michael as their chief minister. Michael's term is a life term and his eldest son will succeed him upon his death. The country is a moralistic democracy with the Bible used as the constitution and the courts used to practice and establish common law.
The following thread will cover a history of events and edicts to come before the government.
February 20, 2004
Facts: Local legislators began to construct low level governments to fit the new Jehova Witness Republic. However, a debate erupted over the type of democracy that need be committed in such a state. Chief Minister and justice J. Michael answered the question before the court.
J MICHAEL delivered the opinion to the court:
Most democracies would argue that they are of not a compulsory nature. They would argue that you cannot force a freedom or selective freedoms upon the people. This may be true in foreign nations, but for ours, it is not. The Bible and the Lord both point out that man has inalienable rights. These rights cannot be denied upon any government. We must follow the principles of our Bible and call for compulsory rights. They are there whether the denizen likes them to be or not. It is in the Lord's will.
In response to the court's ruling, the Jehova Witness legislature passed a law into affect that allows for the compulsory taking of organs. When a person is deceased, the medical doctor or coroner in charge at the time has full discretion over the organs of that person's body. This law is expected to become challenged before the courts soon.
