Mark III Technologies

Mark III Technologies is sending a memo to all serious technological, R&D corporations around the World, and those not on this World.

As the E-mail blips onto computer screens across the Universe, it reads:

This is a formal invitation to all corporations interested in the feild of Research and Design.
Mark III technologies of Pablicosta wish to form an 'alliance' of sorts with other Corporations.
Our interest is varied, and the new wing at Mark II Headquarters in Pheonix, Pablicosta will be used as a higjhly advanced base for operations.
We intend to explore many different avenues of research and testing, and release some of the products for sale, whilst keeping others for the nations involved in the production.
Profits will also be shared equally, which is why 4 corporations are wanted, but more is unnaceptable.

A majority of the benifits are stated in the previos contact made with yourselves.
However, aside to this will come mutual friendhsip between nations, and positive trade agreements.
The government of Pablicosta has also agreed to form an International alliance with any and all nations who partake in this project.

I am glad that we have sealed the deal between our glorious corporations.

Not to jump in straight away, but I have to things to bring to your immediate attention:

The Alliance requires a name, suggestions are open to all.
A possible contract. If desired we can draw up a contract between ourselves. We would approve of such a contract, but do not feel it nescesery-however, we will accept it if you wish for it.


If it isn't allready obvious, the percentage of all profit will be spread equally, so each Corporation will earn
25%
of all profits, minus any Inter-nation transport taxation.

We are neutral regarding a formal alliance contract, though it may be wise in the event of an unforseen dispute. We leave it to you.

This is kind of a first draft. We can go with this, or give me suggestions for alterations.

Alliance for the Development of Advanced Technologies Charter:
Article one: This document is the official charter of the Alliance for the Development of Advanced Technologies (ADAT). All members of said alliance are required by law to adhere to the terms and conditions herein or face ejection from the ADAT.
Article two: ADAT headquarters shall be located in Pablicosta. Employees shall be granted free and unhindered passage into and out of ADAT headquarters except in times of national emergency in Pablicosta.
Article three: All ADAT members have an equal say in administrative decisions within the ADAT. Every member will designate a single ADAT board member to represent them in these decisions. Majority rules in all board votes. This procedure is also used to accept or deny new members.
Article four: All ADAT developments will be shared between members equally, and all rights to developments will be given to all members.
Article five: In instances where the ADAT sells its developments to external parties, all profits will be equally shared among all members.
Article six: ADAT facilities shall operate under the laws of the nation which the facility is located, and criminal acts by employees will be prosecuted by that nation's courts.
Article seven: ADAT members have no obligation to share any technology developed outside of an ADAT facility with no ADAT assistance.
Article eight: Any member may withdraw from the ADAT at any time. If a member leaves the ADAT, they will be retain rights to all projects that were in progress during their membership.
