Return to Skylab Delta - (Semi-Open RP)

25-02-2004, 05:18
Skylab Delta was the USSNR's first true space station. For many months the reliable Buran Space Shuttle brought brave crews to and fro the Orbiting Station, never thinking about what would happen to it after the missions subsided for a long "resting period" of Nodea Rudav's forces, including the Aeronautics Command.

After the first known sign that the new Modern-Tech StarShips would be scrapped, which were only two in total, the Peoples Socialist Aeronautics Command began Operation D-II Apollo, a program to build their very own Apollo Saturn V Rocket System for a cheaper way to begin operations with the vacant Skylab Delta Space Station in orbit.

Months later the Peoples Socialist Aeronautics Command had completed both the CSM, Command Service Module, and a space where the "Lunar Lander" would have been placed for extra cargo, or whatever needed to be brought along. Soon after, about two weeks, the first anf third stages had been constructed, then the second. When put together, just in time as the Announcement of the StarShips being scrapped, a crew of three men had been prepared to begin operations on Skylab Delta Space Station again, and were trained to be the best just in case something unexpected would show itself as a suprise.

That night, the USSNR launched the first Nodea Rudavian Built Apollo Saturn V rocket with Excellent results, now approacing the station, Commander Terie Katan'Da, Lieutenant Doso Al'Nika, and Flight Sergeant Mioj Xen'Tar are preparing to begin a long stay at Skylab Delta....

OPCOM--> I still can't get these readings....
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Me neither, Operations Command. I see no harm with it though, might be another Nations Shuttle or Craft, perhaps satellite. It is from a scanner or something, but Skylab Delta here reads this going on for quite some time.
----
OPCOM--> Yea, I see it, but still, it ain't ours.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Yea, that worries me somewhat. But, I see no other Nations Earth-Bound or otherwise that hates us to attack. So, I really ain't worried....but it seems to be some kind of strange signal, sensors or transmission is what I can't figure out.
----
OPCOM--> I read ya, confusing, I know. We'll get on it, so get some sleep with the rest of your crew.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Roger, keep an eye on us and make sure that Buran is ready if anything happens, I want my crew to be of the upmost importance.
----
OPCOM--> Copy that, Commander, we have her ready for your crew, and you, just in case. Don't go bein a hero on us, you hear? Dreaming and Reality is two different things, I believe you could understand that.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Ha, Ha, Ha. Heh.....well I'll hit the sack now, good-night Brethren on Earth, Peace be with you.
----
OPCOM--> Same to you, Commander, same to you.

Unknown to the Two Man, One Woman, crew of the Skylab Delta and Operations Command on the ground, what was signaling the Skylab Delta was more or less a warning, soemhow the Skylab Delta had been able to decifer some of it, but just enough to determine just that. It wouldn't give out unimportant information, yet, as it saw a warning from an unknown source as just that: Unimportant.

OPCOM--> Wake up call, D two crew, lets get that sleep outa your eyes.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Glad to hear ya Operations Command, hows it been going? Anyone down there get some sleep?
----
OPCOM--> Some of us, Chief got some suprisingly also.
----
Fl. Srgnt. Xen'Tar--> Quiet night, I'd say.
----
Lt. Al'Nika--> You wish, Mioj, you and your freaking snoring.
----
---Laughter---
----
OPCOM--> Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, lets get back to business.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> You mean Komodren.
----
OPCOM--> Decided to take the projection wrist-watch off, huh? Well, atleast we don't really transform.
----
Fl. Srgnt. Xen'Tar--> Seeing our form and human form, I'd say that would be VERY painful. Anyway, I like who I am, and plan not wearing that damn watch thing just to hide my true self. Besides, spinning in space makes the tail move....groovy.
----
OPCOM--> Heh, I'd been there. Hows the Station, Commander?
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Doing OK, Operations Command. See no problems at all and......well, nothing strange recorded last night, or the time we slept at least.
----
OPCOM--> Copy that, Commander. We recieved Telementry, just needed to confirm as always.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Even trustworthy systems can sometimes make slight mistakes. Anyway, we shall go about checking all systems ourselves, you probably got the confirmation but we'll check up here. Copy Command?
----
OPCOM--> Copy and Roger, we'll keep close watch on things down here, don't worry about anything, just go about checking things. Once you feel everything seems in order with the Station, perhaps even the CSM, we'll continue from there.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Copy that, thanks.
----
OPCOM--> It's our job, we never leave you for a second.....well perhaps on those special occasions.
----
Lt. Al'Nika--> Special? Oh, I see. Funny, rrriiiiigggghhhhtttt. Now, let us get back to MISSION Objectives, not Personal Fantasies.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Heh, old girl still can't take a joke.
----
Lt. Al'Nika--> Who are YOU calling OLD?! I'm just my Prime age here, don't go bull----ing about me, now.
----
OPCOM--> Okay, lets calm down, we don't want blood spilling everywhere.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Sorry, Doso, sorry. I was just joking, you look pretty beautiful for a female, you know.
----
Lt. Al'Nika--> Well, just be glad I know your not the type to suck up to people. I accept the apology, lets get back to work.
----
OPCOM--> Good thing, good thing. Alrighty, we'll keep an watch.

OPCOM--> Apollo D two, a Buran Shuttle has been launched and is heading your way. Nodea Rudav Native Humans are going to be joining you.
----
Cmndr. Katan'Da--> Only type of Human I like to live in Rudav is a Birthright Human.
----
OPCOM--> Heh, well I'm a Human Birthright also, atleast me whom is talking to you. Anyway, thanks for the complament, I suppose.
