Ruskkie forces have recently invaded the Confederacy of SteamEarth with ground troops moving up through Southern Wastes and air assualts moving in from all sides of SteamEarth. Basically Ruskkia is throwing everything its got at the Confederate.

Zepplins from both sides have been shot down, though the larger number being of Confederate.

AIR RAIDS ON VENDIGRAD!

Following the recent outbreak of war between SteamEarth and Ruskkia, SteamEarth bombers have luanched air raid after air raid against the Ruskkie capital of Vendigrad whilst Ruskkie military zepplins and troops continue their advance through SteamEarth.

Rumours are abound about a possible SteamEarth nuclear strike at Ruskkia following the deployment of SteamEarth gravity or space cannons in Southern Wastes. SteamEarth military officals have stated, "No comment."

The mighty soldiers of Ruskkia have taken the swine of SteamEarth's protectorate of Southern Wastes. Large numbers of dorp troops and zepplins overwelmed the weakling defenses of SteamEarth and cursed all resistance.

STEAMEARTH NUCLEAR STIRKE AGAINST RUSKKIA!

As SteamEarth troops rethreat from the might of the Ruskkie army in Southern Wastes, the cowardly scumbags dear luanch an atomic stirke at Ruskkia.

The sole atomic bomb landed in the southern plains region of Ruskkia wiping out the Ruskkie Collective who had settled in that area. Following this Ruskkie soldiers killed the SteamEarth personnel who manned the 'space cannon' which fired the nuke.

Loses are unkown, but are believed to be high.

Jeruselem suspends trading with SteamEarth due to war

The current trading agreements with SteamEarth which is at war with Ruskkia was temporarily suspended to the onset of war. The Queen said this was done to avoid any civilian casualties due to the hostile environment of war in the region and Jeruselem will continue to support it's ally SteamEarth in other ways.

It has been reported Ruskkia has been nuked by SteamEarth forces, but this has not been confirmed yet. An Arab reporter asked if Jeruselem Uranium was used in SteamEarth nuclear arsenal, and a Queen was forced to confirm SteamEarth was authorised to use Jeruselem Uranium for purposes other than civilian after SteamEarth civil war had finished.

SteamEarth Emergency Government News

With regrads to the recent alleged 'nuking' of Ruskkia by SteamEarth, the Confederacy of SteamEarth's government wishes to give the following offical statement;

'The Confederacy of SteamEarth deninds any attempts at nuking Ruskkia, though attmit that we considered a possible nuclear strike at Ruskkia but settled instead to use it as a threat only.

Our 'space cannons' were unfortunely located in Southern Wastes which is now under the control of Imperial Ruskkia. Also the radioactive materials used in the nukes are FROM a mine in Southern Wastes, NOT Jeruselem.

We asure everyone that we did not fire the nuke at Ruskkia for three reasons;

1. All 'space cannon' operators and SteamEarth troops were evacuated ONE whole day pior to the firing. All personnel are accounted for, and orders were given for the space cannons to be 'made unusuable'.

2. The area in Ruskkia hit by the nuke is was under the control of our ally the Ruskkie Collective, whom we support in their attempts at removing the current ruler of Ruskkia Duke Charles Le Thunder.

3. Our sources tells us that a Ruskkie milltary zepplin was stopped in the area pior to the explosion.

We believe that this COULD be a dirty trick by the Ruskkies, though we need more evidence to actually prove this claim.'

MAJOR SEA BATTLE OFF STORMWELL ISLAND

Just last night a major sea battle broke out between the naval fleets of SteamEarth and Ruskkia, though still carried on even at first light this morning. It seems that the Ruskkie fleet were engaged as they neared Stormwell Island which so happens to be a major SteamEarth milltary base.

It has been confirmed that loses are high but no figures have been given.

BORDERLAND BATTLE HALTS RUSKKIES!

The Ruskkie advance into SteamEarth has been halted along the nation's southern border with Southern Wastes. Defenses, both artillery and trenches, along the northern side of the Southery river have stopped Ruskkie units from crossing the river.

The Ruskkie forces have now dug in along the river's southern bank, whilst SteamEarth artillery continues to pound them day and night.

Also SteamEarth has now placed a blockade around Southern Wastes against the Ruskkies, in hope to keep the Ruskkies cut off from their supplies.

Also rumour is abound about a possible 'Big Push' into Southern Wastes by SteamEarth forces.
