Like many nationst, mine is fairly advanced (unlike many others, I started modern and worked my way up ;) ). However, I think I'd like to do some kind of RP about the early days of Mallberta.

Specifically, Mallberta arose from basically the real world after a small nuclear holocaust and near-total anarchy.

I was wondering if anyone would like to do an RP where they describe how their nation arose from these same nuclear ashes. If there's any interest, I'll give a little more detail to exactly what I invision happening.

Sounds interesting. Basically, Gen. Duke, the leader at the time, killed his father who was murdering innocent civilians and soldiers who didn't follow his orders.

I would, but I have a timeline where Crimmond comes about in the '80s after a civil war in Poland that started when the Third Reich fell. There was a nuke attack on Berlin though... Not enough though.

And kudos to another modern to future nation. Not many of us about. :D

Yes, modern-tech-plus RP is fun. Unfortunately I've never been capable of being accused of it; I tend to deviate into wild flights of fancy involving strange cultures and implausible science.

even a small one, but the very plausable near future irriversable depletion of petrolium and other fossle fuel reserves.

we suggested something of the sort over on the anubis guild site where i'm supposedly setting the scene in a charicter level roll play called future gone wrong.

the mad max era and the starve back are backstory and we're starting at a point several generations later. villages are starting to reunite with one another on a modest scale, with hopes and dreams of doing infrastructure environmentaly sustainably.

not all wandering adventurers have entirely caught on that we're trying to rebuild a kind of civilization, without most of the mystakes that were exacerbated by monetarism in the 20th and 21st centuries.

timeframe is still the 21st century, possibly some 30 to 60 years from now. AFTER the starveback that came after the oil depletion.

(fanatical ludites have NOT burned all the university engineering libraries, but a lot of the parts to make the machines to make the parts have to be cottage crafted up cause there really isn't yet a whole lot of mass producing of anything going on. young people ARE interested in making and having fun with mechanical stuff but EVERYONE knows of direct personal experience how vital the well being of the natural environment is to themselves personaly as well)

Although I`m not *real world* based. It´s just that a lot of important dates coincide with RL events ^_^*

OOC: The Stellvia system, arose just before the apocalypse. When the 4 ( White-X, The Big White X, Hibba, Getto) nations banded to gether and fled the Planet, for refuge. They found a small system away from Earth's solar system, and settled down there.
