The city of Kell, a peaceful little town, that is in the middle of a hilly, foresty, beutiful area. A river went under the bridge that led to the city, at the end of the river was a waterfall. Below the waterfall was a peaceful little plain, the river continued on for another four miles before going down in another waterfall, behind the waterfall, in the wall of the cliff rested a cave. An ancient mine that led deep into the world, but none have ever gone into it, for no one had ever seen it. The only path into it is a twenty foot deep lake, hiding in which is who knows what.
The land surrounding the lake is rocky, and the river turns into a shallow stream, that slolwy runs farther down, into plains.
On a mountain overlooking the city of Kell, rests a tower. Inside the tower lives a wizard. His name is Tassar, and he is an old, but robust man. He has a long gray beard that goes over his red robes. He always bears a staff, made out of oak, carved by Elves from the east.
He sat on a chair, on a balcony which hung on the top floor of the tower. Out past the land of Arnia laid mountains, firery mountains, that barely anyone tries to cross.
The city of Kell itself was made entirely of humans. A patrol guard is kept, but there is no military. People went abou their jobs in the city, and farmers had farms a couple miles to the west.
Tassar gazed out at the land, and he saw the terrible things that he wished he hadn't. He looked out at the fields of the farming vilage, miles from Kell, and he saw undead. They walked the streets of the town, killing any person they could catch, be it child, women, or man. No guard was out there, for it never needed it.
All travelers, or guards of the city who can hear me. There is trouble in the vilage of Niek. You must go to it, and save the villagers, or they shall all perish.
He sent the message out, and all he could do was hope that someone heard.

[OOC: Alright, everyone, this is were you guys come in. You can create a party of five, with the races being anywhere from an Human, to an Elf, to a dwarf, to a gnome, to a cross breed. The first mission is to clear out the village, and I will continue from there on.]

Corior rested upon a hill, messing around with a peice of grass.
Then he heard the message.
All travelers, or guards of the city who can hear me. There is trouble in the vilage of Niek. You must go to it, and save the villagers, or they shall all perish.
Corior wasn't a native to Arnia, but he was sstaying there for the time being. So he quickly got up, and ran for the village.
Upon reaching the river he was greeted by three peasents, who ran across the bridge, screaming. Following them were slow moving zombies.
Corior ran onto the bridge, and engaged two zombies there. He swung his sword low, tripping one on the right shin, it fell over the edge of the bridge, into the fast moving water, were it was carried off to who knows where. The second tried to bite him, but he quickly stepped backwards. He took his shielf, which was a wood circle painted red, and black. And he thrusted it sideways, smacking the zombie across the face. He took his sword and thrust it through the stomach of the foe, and then brought it out, and cleaved it across the neck. The head fell off, and rolled down to the edge of the bridge, and the body toppled over. He ran into village, making his way down the streets. He had engaged three more zombies, and cleared them all.
He reached a field, a corn field. A road lef through the middle of it, and he looked down it. Two men's bodies were thrust onto the path, their backs brutally slashed in many places. Out of the corn were four ghouls. They all weilded curved short swords. They ran on their hands and feet. They looked at him, and charged.
When they met one swung, but Corior parried it to the side. Another came from his left side, and he swung his sword downward, thrusting it through the skull. He pulled it out just in time to parry another attack. He uppercutted the ghoul that was directly in front of him, spilling tis black blood on the ground.
The last two jumped at him from behind, he saw one and slashed, knocking it onto the ground, injured with a split open stomach. The other one knocked him onto the ground, and treid to slit his throat. He thusted it off him, and as it was getting up he slashed his sword down, decapitating it.
He started getting up when the final one jumped at him again. He was kncoked onto the ground, face up, the black blood staining his tunic that was over his chain mail.
He thrust the sword up, through the ghouls heart. And then pushed it odd him, he pulled his sword out. And then looked around, after seeing no more enemy nearby, he ran towards the nearest scream.

A rather tall, pale foreigner with a hooded cloak shrouding her face sighed in relief. Though her clothes looked like those of a peasant, she was in fact the young ruler of the Empire of Yuki no Yume, and she had just escaped her advisors.
“Absolute power is great and all, but sometimes even empresses need a break! Don’t those idiots understand that?”

Just as she was about to flop down in the grass and conjure up a tasty snack [courtesy of a handy SnackSpell (patent pending)], she heard a desperate plea for help.

“Hey, now this is what I’m talkin’ about! Time to kick some behind and get a little bloodstained!”

She waved her hands as she sprinted down the hill above the tiny village that would probably have looked quaint had it not been a mass of wreckage. Her hands began to glow and she nearly flew past some guy with a sword she didn’t know, straight into a thicket of zombies. Laughing maniacally, she began mowing them down, getting sprayed with blood that matched the streaks in her blond hair in the process.

Delthir Kor'thulan stood, putting food back into his pack.
"That sounds like something that requires our attention." he said quietly.
His companion, a figure clad from head to toe in dark gray cloth, nodded silently. T'rogil Nazerim was generally silent; this had kept him alive in dangerous situations more than once. He stood, taking up his strange double-pointed spear.
Side by side, the elves of light and shadow hurried towards Niek. Both made less noise than a cat as the walked, and their movement was swift. Soon the two travelers reached the town.
Two other people were destroying the undead closest to the river; Delthir and T'rogil continued on untill they spotted another group of zombies. Delthir immediately began pouring arrows into the undead monsters; T'rogil paused only to thrust his spear into the ground before joining in. In moments, the vile band had fallen.

Corior ran along the side of the town, up ahead was a windmill, untouched by the zombies. He looked around for anything, turning a corner that led to the middle of the town he saw three people running. Two of them turned around to see if anything was following them, and Corior heard a thump, then another. Then turning the corner was something he had never seen before. It was three times regular human height, it looked like a whole bunch of human skins that were sowed together. The best had a pug face, with eyes that didn't match in size. It was very bulky, and smelled of dead flesh, it looked nothing like a human other than the fact it had two leg, two arms, and a head. The legs appeared to be to small for it, and the arms to long. In its hands it held a chain, and on the end of the chain was a giant scythe blade.
The two who had stopped started running again, the monster swung its chain scythe and the two were immediatley cut in half. The third kept running, and Corior charged past him. The monster saw him, and swung, he ducked just in time for it to go over his head. The swiftness of the chain brought dust up from the ground. Corior ran up, and swung at its stomach with his sword. The sharp blade cut through it, and blood started to pour out.
The creature looked down at him, and swung down. The scythe dug into the ground ten feet from Corior, it obviously wasn't very bright.
He uppercutted it, and another slice was made. The beast swung its arm, and he was thrown back ten feet. He got up, and stuck up his shield just in time, the scythe hit the shield, and got stuck on it. He swung his sword down towards the chain, and with three swings, he knocked it off.
The scythe slowly fell off, and hit the ground with a thud.
The moster swung its chain around more, dodged, or blocked everytime by Corior. He started to walk backwards and it pursued.
Then it swung the chain again. With great pain it wrapped around his wrist three times. He tried to take it off, but the beast swung its chain again. He was torn off his feet, and he soared ten feet away from the windmill. The chain slid off, and he stood back up. He stood under the mill, as the creature bumbled its way towards him.
It swung, but it was to high. The chain hit the windmill blade, and wrapped around. The creature jerked back, and the entire windmill fan fell off. Corior looked up, and closed his eyes.
The fan it two feet in front of him. He opened and looked at it. The creature jerked again, and the fan toppled forward. The fan fell down, and hit the beast on the head, killing it.

In the heat of all the battle, no one noticed a man dressed in blue robes wander into the town, along with him another in blue robes, about half the other's height. The two both had cloaks covering their faces.
Zombies and ghouls surrounded them, and started approaching.
They got within five feet, and suddenly they were all blown back by a flash of blue light. The undead all decentigrated oin the spot. Several others tried to attack, but were met by the same fate.
So many of the undead were being slaughtered, and the tieds were changing.

Zoe noticed all the reinforcements seemed to be coming from one direction. She broke away from the slaughter to investigate.

Her eyes widened.

There were several necromancers (people who make zombies) just going to town in a slightly run-down cottage.

“Oh, perfect. A Necromancer’s Guild.” She cracked her knuckles, catching their attention.

“Well, hey there boys. Sorry to disturb, but I figured it was about time for y’all to join your victims!” Raising her shields, she whipped out a shotgun.

“Time to earn that NRA membership…”

The two elvin warriors next encountered one of the horrendous Abominations. They reacted quickly, setting arrows to their bows and begining a deadly stream of wood and metal. Quick though the monster's weapon was, they were able to dodge its deadly swings, and eventually the creature collapsed.
However, a number of ghouls had crept up behind the two while they fired, and soon they would be too close to take on with arrows....

Zoe pulled out her crossbow and lined it with an extra punch - fire magic.
"Heh. All right, let's see what happens if I set 'em all on fire!"

She raised the corssbow, aimed, and pulled the trigger - hitting one. It promptly tried to put itself out and ended up setting six others, plus several cottages, ablaze.
"Oops...maybe I better dail it down a bit..."

((Question. Can you outline what these zombies can and can't do? I'm guessing that you aren't using realistic undead physics (you can't "injure" them, persay, and you can't stab them through the heart to kill them in real life). Also, can we use one shot derringer-style pistols? Those were around kinda near the medieval ages.))

[OOC: Zombie phisics 101, ok. They are undead yes, but they can 'die', if their head is cut off, they are dead, if they are destroyed by magic; dead. SO forth and so on, they cannot die of disease, or just a stab to the stomach, or heart. Yes the one shot pistols are allowed.]

OOC: Consider me in. I need more Roleplays to do... I'm running low! :D

IC: Mathadar rested by a tree. He had been trying to sleep, but was woken up rather abruptly and rudely by a running thing lit on fire. As he woke up, he just pulled out a single shot pistol and hit in the head to shut it up. As he put his head back onto the rock he was sleeping on, he heard off in the distance a few screams, splashing water, and people yelling. Swords were clanking as an undertone.

Mathadar stood up, stretching out and scratching his sides. It felt as if his stomach had fallen out of him ever since he entered this hellhole... he didn't even know where he was. One day, he just decided to leave and walk... but that wasn't important for now. He got up and trudged through the thick brush cover in the direction of the noise.

A few minutes of walking brought him up to a river, crowded with the living dead, and a few people idiotically fighting right in the middle of it. Stupid heroics...

Mathadar removed the other single-shot pistol that rested on his ankle, and fired, striking a rather stupid looking zombie in the forehead, putting it to rest.

He dropped the gun, and ran across the small area, drawing a sword from his side, and slashing at another undead who walked up to bite him, not even sure what it was. It let out a low gurgle as some blood leaked onto the grass and water nearby. A rather particularly disgusting ghoul started advancing up on the back of another figther in the midst of the melee. Mathadar charged, dropping his sword clean down it's spine, splashing blood on his cloak.

"You're lucky I got that," he shouted. "What the Hell are you doing here, fighting these?"

Corior walked along the bodies that were strewd across the fields, and village. They had won, they had saved the village from total devastation.
All the heroes grouped together, but didn't say a word, untill the man in the blue robes, along with the other three foot man in small robes walked up to them.
"Follow me please," The taller one said and the two started to walk, Corior followed along.
