Benderland decommissions its battlemechs from the military

A long-time user of Battlemechs, the Kingdom of Benderland has decided that due to funding and practicality, the battlemech no longer serves any use for the Benderland military. Advancements in technology have enhanced its more conventional tracked and wheeled vehicles to the point where they are as powerful, if not more powerful as its battlemechs, at a cheaper cost to the military.
The military battlemechs are being sold off to private investors in the Battlemech dueling circuit, and some are being stripped for parts. Benderland is taking requests for any parts from the battlemechs a nation would desire.

IC:How much for a battlemech reactor, control system/gyroscope, and leg assembly?
OOC: The reactor is obvious, the control system is needed because our major problem with making battlemechs is their ability to stay upright, especially when under fire. The leg assembly is because the way the legs are designed may have a bearing on the stability of the mech.

We can sell you the plans for the parts you requested for $30 billion. Keep in mind the powerplant is a compact clean fusion reactor, so that's why the price seems steep.

IC: That is fair. Could we also get examples of the requested parts? It would aid our engineers greatly to have a functioning example in front of them when they try to build such hardware.

That won't be a problem. We'll ship them at no extra charge.
We would be very interested in light battlemech designs, designed mainly for hit and rund attacks, quick raidings, and assassination strikes. If any, we would like to purchase all blueprints relating to those designs, as well as twelve complete and fully functioning specimens of each variant. Please contact us.

The Robotic Kingdom of Benderland posesses four of its own light mech designs. Plans will be included for free:
----
INP-49 Inopinus:
Mass: 35 tons
Top Speed: 101.8 kph
Armor: 6.5 tons
13 dbl heat sinks
Arsenal:
1 ER PPC
2 ER Medium Lasers
1 SRM-6 (2 tons ammo)
Overview: Inopinus is Latin for "unexpected". And that's exactly what the firepower is in this Clan-tech mech. Such a small mech with a big gun is unheard of, until BMI released Clan tech that is. And heat management is surprizingly good for a Clan tech mech.
Price: $41,210,000 ea.
-----
PR-34 Parra:
Mass: 30 tons
Top Speed: 102.5 kph
Armor: 7 tons
11 heat sinks
Arsenal:
2 ER Medium Lasers
1 ER Small Laser
2 Machine Guns (2 tons ammo)
4 Jump Jets
Overview: The first mech of BMI to feature jumpjets, which allow the mech to leap 3 times its height for a brief period of time. This mech has mosly long range weapons, making it great for stalking troops in a mountainous area, or sniping tanks from a distance in an urban setting.
Price: $35,555,500 ea.
-----
CST-27 Castigo
Mass: 30 tons
Top speed: 107.8 kph
Armor: 5.5 tons
11 heat sinks
Arsenal:
1 Grenade launcher
2 ER Medium Lasers
2 ER Small lasers
2 Machine guns (2.5 tons ammo)
Overview: A multiple-role mech, this can be used for scouting, policing, and an anti-infantry weapon. The grenade launcher can be equipped with teargas, smoke, incendiary, or fragmentation grenades. Making this a mech that wears many hats.
Price: $27,157,500 ea.
-----
CSM-60 Cisium:
Mass: 35 tons
Top sped: 104.5 kph
Armor: 6.5 tons
12 heat sinks
Arsenal:
2 SRM-4 (3 tons ammo)
2 Medium Lasers
2 Machine guns (2 tons ammo)
Overview: A short-range mech, mostly for anti-infantry and light vehicles. They’re a good replacement for anti-personnel tanks. It has an impressive amount of armor for a light mech, meaning it can take more punishment than expected.
Price: $30,727,500 ea.
---
OOC: The military also posessed many light mech designs from the Battletech timeline, up to about the 3060 tech level. I don't have the stats listed for those.
CBD Incorporated hereby expresses its interest in the Inopinus, Parra and Castigo 'mech variants. As said, we would like to purchase twelve 100% functioning specimens of each variant, as well as the blueprints belonging to each model. If possible, we would like to hire some experience pilots that have spend a large portion of their career in these models, to give several work-shops and masterclasses to our own Academy instructors, to speed up the process of familiarization with these 'mechs. Price will not be an issue.

I wish to buy/have freely all or some of your Vulture Class Mechs, is that OK? We need some for our Modern-Tech Experimental Military and Colonial Space Military.

The total for the 'mechs is $1,247,076,000. They're in top condition, and live ammunition will be shipped seprate.
We'll send over 36 instructors to aid in the instructing of your troops, as well as 24 of our battlemech simulators to aid with training (most of them would've been sold off to our arcade industry anyways).
Adding in the cost of the instructors and simulators, we'll make the total cost an even $1.5 billion. Is that alright?

We're sorry, but our military never posessed that model of battlemech. The fire support role was filled mostly by the Yaeoman and the Catapult.
(OOC: Also, a modern-tech nation, even if it's experimental, could only dream of a battlemech.)
OOC:
I know! Waaaa!
We are interested in your battlemechs, as we are currently looking into the feasibility of power-armor - we would like to purchase 20 working models of each type of mech you have, as well as the designs for them.

Unfortunatley, you do not have the funding to purchace such a large amount of battlemechs.
We have a population of 924 million, along with a thriving economy - I think we can afford that.

That is quite acceptable. We are attaching to this message the coördinates and flight vectors necessary to ensure proper delivery. Thank you for doing business with CBD Inc.

Not with your economy. A stable military budget with your economy would be around 2% of your national budget, which falls well short of the purchace price of 20 working models of each type of mech we have.
We had wide variety of mechs in our military, in all weight classes. That many mechs would cost well over $100 billion, which is not within your budget.
Very well - may we see a selection of what type of battlemechs you have available? Perhaps one for every class (Recon, Support, Assault, etc)

Battlemechs are divided into four categories: light, medium, heavy, and assault.
Light battlemechs range from 10-35 tons
Medium battlemechs range from 40-55 tons
Heavy battlemechs range from 60-75 tons
Assault battlemechs range from 80-100 tons
Weight increases by 5-ton incriments. Your run-of-the-mill mech will usually fall in the medium or heavy category. Light and Assault mechs are less frequent, but they do serve their purpose. The lighter the mech, the faster it is, the weaker/less weapons it carries. Light mechs would be your recon, and assault would be your main defense or offense. What lies between could be used for many other roles. However, some well-designed mechs such as the Timberwolf (75 tons) can outperform mechs that carry much more firepower due to it's well-balanced design.
You can view the battlemechs we have made available for sale to other nations in the thread listed below. However, place any orders for the battlemechs in this thread. The prices have been adjusted properly to match what I'm selling them at now, and ignore the 15% off sale. The BattleArmor is not for sale any longer.

(bump)
We'd like to order the following mechs then... 6 of each.
QS-3 Quiris - 277,695,000
PR-34 Parra - 213,333,000
If possible, we'd like the designs for the DS-4 Death Scout and LNG-8 Longinus. If that is not possible, we'd like to purchase 12 of each, which would add 7,200,000 to our purchase. Also, we'd like to inquire as to the power source of the mechs...

As I mentioned earlier, the battle armor is not for sale any longer. The mechs will be shipped upon payment.
Very well - 277,695,000 has been wired for the mechs.

Correction, that's $491,028,000
Sorry, it seems we suffered a minor malfunction in our accounting systems... The rest has been wired.
