After decades of tiring research, scientists and enginneers were finally able to celebrate. "The practical use of large scale gravity manipulation and control will lead to advances in transportation and other areas where the Federal Republic is typically seen as 'behind'", an unnamed KNDF enginneer reported.
Konania has possesed "gravtech" for years, but has been unable to apply it on a large scale. One of these applications could be in warfare-- The lack of a powerful navy often would work to the harm of the KNDF. However, in keeping with the KNDF's goals of speed, mobility, and flexiblity, "gravships" could easily defend the borders of Konania...

Ian Gredea had been up most of the night, doing.... nothing. In truth, he was just looking at 'it'. 'It', the sum of 20 years of work. 'It', the application of modern science. 'It', something Gredea had worked most of his life to acheive.
