When they emerged they found that the X-47 Orbital weapons platform, acting on its own after being cut off from control unloaded its full payload of Biological, Chemical and Nuclear weapons on it last known target, The capital city of Roania. They emerged to fine the landscape charred and poisoned, and soon died of thirst because all of the groundwater is poisoned, or were infected by the virii still present in the air, those who survived this died of radiation poisoning.
