To Sign a Treaty(Closed Rp)

20-02-2004, 09:58
Urien Rakarth stood upon the deck. Why should he be sent to sign this treaty? Sometimes he could not understand the psychopathic mind that was the Archite's. He walked into the lift, and held a hand to his stomach as it made it's descent to the hangar...

The lift stopped abruplty and Urien walked out heading to the transoprt ship. he was greeted-or rather nodded at-by his Incubi Guard. Although he knew that he was honoured, he would have prefered to take his Grotesques with him..

As he made his way into the transport , the doors slammed shut and the transport headed for the Farsight Enclave fleet...
The ship glided forward as he tapped the Data-Slate with his knarled fingers.

MESSAGE TO FARSIGHT ENCLAVE
Expect my arrival within 6[ns] hours. I look forward to meeting your kind.

Urien Rakarth

Legions of fire warriors stood at the ready, inside the massive main bay of the Farsight Enclave's Explorer flagship. Already much of the Farsight Enclave's fleet had landed on Deredus Secondus and had begun transforming the ships into prefabricated living quarters and centers of industry. With the extreme efficiency of the Earth Caste behind the effort, it would only be a matter of days until the Farsight Enlcave would be fully settled.

O'Shovah stood a few heads above the Water Caste diplomats surrounding him on the platform that was to await the comming of the Commorarghian envoy.

One of O'Shovah's closest aids leaned over and whispered in his ear "O'Shovah, are you sure it is wise to ally ourselves with such an overtly violent and aggressive group?"

O'Shovah, honestly was unsure of the answer, but kept his impressive composure and responded without turning his head "We need any and all possible allies in this sector of space, because we are new to this region."

And with that O'Shovah stood to await the landing of the Commorargh ship.

The sleek transport ship and its escorts slowly glided into the hangar of the Farsight Enclave ship.

The hatch opened and Urien Rakarth walked out accompanied by his Incubi Bodyguard.

"Ah yes, O'Shovah. It is a pleasure to meet you." He said.

O'Shovah raised a hand in greeting as Urien Rakarth walked out of his ship and down a small ramp, leading to O'Shovah and the Water Caste members.

O'Shovah then spoke first, saying, "We great your fine people to our ship. We hope that your short stay will be one well remembered, but let us get to the reason you came: a treaty. We, the Farsight Enclave, would be more than happy to have a form of alliance with you but there would most likely be some limitations. What type of treaty do you have in mind?"

Urien shook O'Shovahs hand, making sure that his concealed scissorhand did not touch O'Shovah.

"I thank you for your kindness" Urien said without a hint of emotion." The treaty the Archite has in mind is a one of mutual defence and of technological exchanges."

Urien secretly smirked to himself. That the warriors of the Greater Good should ally themselves with the wretched corsairs of the void was beyond his comprehension...

O'Shovah laughed inwardly when the Eldar abbomination said "technological exhanges." The idea that these Dark Eldar had any technology to offer, the technologically superior Tau, was laughable at best, and a complete insult at worst. Yet O'Shovah realized that his people needed some allies in this dark and foreboding new region of space and an exchange of some base technologies (that would no doubt be wonderous marvels to these backwards aliens) for an alliance of mutual defense, was acceptable.

"This treaty sounds acceptable, but we shall need to know more about the parameters of the mutual defense and the technologies to be exchanged," said O'Shovah, very matter-of-factly.

"Please follow me now and lay out your terms as we lead you on a tour of our ship. There will be no need for your guards, because you are on a vessel of the Greater Good. Here, as long as you come in peace, you are accepted as one of us." O'Shovah turned and began to walk down a path made by the Fire Warriors, towards an exit in the wall.
