This flag is going to be for the Nation of California... the State of California will retain the old 'California Republic' flag.

I'd go for the new flag, looks the same from both sides.
The new flag is obviously cooler, and stars have less chance of becoming extinct... so its timeless really.
My flag is the best, so there. Check it out if you don't believe me!

Thats right because some flags are pretend flags that sneak up behind you and rob you in dark alleys.
I meant it more in the sense that the bear flag bears more resemblance to a coat-of-arms than an actual flag. And indeed, should the new flag be decided upon, I hope the bear will survive in the nation's coat of arms.
Not that it would be any of my business.
