OOC: This nation is set one year after the events in Final Fantasy X-2, when the people of Spira unite and elect the reluctant High Summoner Yuna to be the first Primier of a United Spira. The newly formed Senate has just named the nation the Allied States of Yuna United Spira.
IC: [Yuna stands on the raised balcony at Luca Stadium in the city of Luca, the stands are jammed packed with people cheering their new leader, flying CommSpheres broadcast her image live all across Spira]
"Hello people of Spira, three years to the day I stood here to announce the death of Sin and the birth of the Eternal Calm and a new Age of Peace for Spira. A year ago as you all are aware the machine-monster Vegnagun threatened to destroy all life on Spira but it to was defeated. Now I stand here for another reason."
"I stand here to announce the democratic formation of a United Spira!"
"During the last year the various peoples and political powers have united to create a single nation upon the Continent of Spira, a nation of Equality, Peace, and Wonder. Elections were held for the first Primier of Spira and I ran for office. I wish to announce formally what you already know."
"I won the election by 97.9%"
[The crowd roars with applause and adulation, but Yuna silences it with a wave of her hand]
"I wish to announce that the newly formed Senate and I have come to an agreement, the capital of the new nation shall not be the city of Bevelle, the center of Spira for over a thousand years."
"The new capital shall be here in Luca."
[more cheering]
"Just one more thing..."
[the crowd goes silend]
"The Senate has also taken a vote and even though I was agianst it the vote was 100%. The name of our new nation shall be the Allied States of Yuna United Spira. The name was taken to honor the first leader of the new Spira... me."
[The crowd roars into loudest cheer yet]
Yuna attempts to continue but after a futile attempt announces a two-day holiday for the whole of Spira.
