Off of the island of Gibraltar a large fleet awaited. Composed of twenty ships, the fleet awaited the order. Then when it came, a short range radio message was sent to the enhabitance of the island, "Surender imediatly, this is the First Fleet of the Thelasi Army, if you do not comply, you will be utterly and totaly destroyed"
The enhabitance did not answer, giving the fleet all provokation that it needed to launch an attack. The naval unit moved closer to shore, now, the enhabitance of the island could see what they were facing. Grav-Ships, massive Grav-ships, loaded with troops. Slowly the lumbering fleet came closer and closer, not firing. Then, the defenders opened fire. Shells of all sorts came at the fleet. About a minute later, the barage seaced... as the smoke cleared the defenders gasped in horor. There sat the entire fleet, unharmed, and with only minor scratches on them.
Now it was the Thelasi's turn, Mass Drivers, Plasma cannons and missels opened up, blowing tanks, turrets, people, and fighters, into smitherines. The barrage lasted for ten minutes. Then, 12,000 marines came in their dropships, landing and securing the area. After the barrage, they were met with minimal resistance. The battle for The Rock of Gibraltar was over.
