Hello fellow NationStates Players! Lovebug is planing on hosting what I think will be NationStates first singing competition (correct me if I'm wrong since I've only been around since December)!!! We are currently working on the rules for the competion, hopefully we will start auditions in March. We will be needing 2 other judges to work with myself, so post your resume here and I'll let you know next week who my fellow judges will be. Give me your name, nation, region, experience in the music or entertainment field, and why I should pick you as a judge, plus any other information you think is pertanent. I should have the rules worked out by the end of next week, anyone who has any ideas can post them here. Basically I figure we will let each nation have one entry into the competition if they choose to. We will have a week for sign up (I'll put that in a new thread.) Two weeks for 1st round auditions - people can post a sample of "their" singing ability (most likely a real life artist, but people can post their own voice if they want and the 1st person who posts a particular voice, if its a good one gets to move on to the next round, if you post the same song as someone else you get eliminated for the first round.) After that I'm not sure how I'm going to work it, (whether people will have to use the same artist or if they pick someone else) and we the judges will just keep eliminating people each week till we get down to the top 10 - then it will go up for vote for all nationstates til we pick a winner. This is basically how I think it will go but I'll take input definately since this is my first time trying rp on this big of a scale here. If you don't think this is a good idea you can let me know that to, or if I don't get enough interest I might drop the idea.
