LRR is looking to form an alliance of really great nations, the alliance.

The RGGA's mission:

The mission of the reformed RGGA would encompass many tasks, and require both future tech and modern tech elements. These tasks will include preventing the spread of facism/naziism, defending democratic nations against hostile invaders, and combatting the spread of empires seeking to dominate us all, our large-force big-battle missions, as well as aiding in the escape of persecuted minorities and the arrest of genocidal/nazi national leaders, to speak of special operations missions.

Also central to the reformed RGGA will be international aid and medical assistance, tasks already being carried out by the International Aid Consortium throughout the world.

RGGA Requirements:

To be eligible for membership in the RGGA, you must have good civil rights or better, and average political freedoms or better, and you must be a reasonably active RPer. Nation size does not matter.

Benefits to joining the RGGA:

By becoming a member of the RGGA, you are able to take full advantage of the organization's technology, modes of transport, and economic benefits. Also, you will be under the protection of a mutual defense treaty, which states that in an unprovoked attack on any member nation, all other members are obliged to do what they can to help.

RGGA Goals:

We hope to be able to set up a reasonably unified military under this alliance, where many members will be participating in alliance operations at once.

We also hope to create a planet- and galaxy-wide network of bases and listening posts, something that the LRRSF has already gone a long way into starting in space.

Finally, we hope to make the world a safer and freer place to live in, and promote democracy and civil rights throughout the earth and the galaxy.

By the way, our political freedoms are rated at 'unheard of' by the UN as, ICly, Kanuckistan is a bit of a quasi-theocracy at the federal level; the overwhelming popularity of a religon that worshiped the former Prime Minister, now God-Emperor(who, speaking publicly, thinks they're all nuts), made it impossible to run an effective democratic government. There are mechanisims to allow for a return to old democratic systems if and when the public desires it, and democracy remains a centeral feature in all other levels of government.

Would entry into the alliance be permissible with this in mind? Just courious at this point; looks like there'd be good RP to be had, and it doesn't apear membership would limit Kanuckistani sovergnty, which has prevented our joining alliances in the past.

I will vouch for Hatchibombitar with every bit of vouch-ed-ness that I have. A finer RPer you will not find. In fact, I would suggest that Hatch be immediately considered for a command position in the New RGGA.

Sure, civil rights for political freedoms is fine. As long as you aren't a nazi, or a genocidal maniac, you can come into this alliance.

BTW, anyone know anything about CorpSac? Specificly alliances? I have a Battleplate engaging his forces in an attempt to liberate an NPC planet he invaded after bombing civilian targets from orbit, and I'm wondering if this'll expand into a larger conflict; any info'd be welcome, however.

Ok, Kanuckistan. But that war with Corp Sac has me a bit worried. And the fact that almost all our fleet save a few small patrol groups is currently tied up means that if we send you any support it will be a small amount.

Perhaps a peaceful settlement would be better?

And Centuari, glad to have you on board.

I have my entire fleet at the ready, and this will only escilate if he takes it farther; as things stand, his forces in the field are obscenely outgunned.

Discounting reinforcments, the only reason the fight continues is that he has the planet to his back, so I haven't fired my heavies; if a miss or over-penitration from those guns hit the planet, well, a nuclear winter and devistating planet-wide earthquakes is probally the best you could hope for.

Pretty to look at, but not conductive to liberating the natives, you know. :wink:

well if that happens you can set up a ski resort and uh yea make nuclear snow cones!
