Hello, or "P'elo" as we say in Amazonian...
I am extatic to announce that Outer Amazonia (the north of the amazon rainforest in Brasil) has gained independant from it's former opressors - Venezuela and Brasil. Outer Amazonia is now independant people's republic, a place where all the tribes of the Amazon rainforest are free to live the way they want and speak the way they. Although our official language is a tribal dialect of portuguese, everyone can speak the way they want. Our capital city is Manaus (formerly a prominent Brasilian city).
However, our newfound independance leaves us in a desperate position, we have just survived the rain season and diseases (ie. typhoid) is crippling those who live in the cities and have no proper sanitation conditions. We are begging for international aid from anyone who is willing to help us.
We need proper sanitation equipment and humanitarian aid. We need this fast... For those who can help us get back on our feet, our nation will provide your nation's economy with enough baskets to last for five years (baskets are our main produce). Please, show mercy to those who will show mercy to you in the future maybe....
Thank you or "Venigata" as we say in Amazonian,
Good-Bye or "Sililaté" in Amazonia,
The Provisional Government of Outer Amazonia
