As Jason walked into the Burger King 2 blocks from his house, he would have never expected to have his future dependent on this lowly job. Jason is 22 years old, didn't go to college, but has a high school diploma. Now-a-days, you need a college degree to get anywhere better than Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Wendy's...but Jason didn't care. He slowly walked up to the counter and asked a young, yet irritated looking woman for an application. She literally threw at him and said that he'd better hurry, because they won't be accepting many more applications. Jason sat down and filled it all out very quickly. He walked back up to the counter, and handed it in with a smile on his face. The other lady took notice in this, and plotted a devious scheme...She grinned, and took the application, and began to speak to Jason.
"So you really want to work here?" she asked.
"Yes I do," said Jason, "I think Burger King will be a great place to start my working career. This is definitely a great place to start."
The lady began to laugh. "I've been here for almost 2 years now, and its been a living hell. Trust me, you don't know what you are getting yourself into....but...if you really do wanna work here, I'll give you an interview later today at 4pm."
"Ma'am? What time is it right now?"
"It's almost noon. Ugh...this day is going slower than ever!"
"Thanks ma'am. I'll be back at 4pm!" he said with a smile still gleaming on his face."
Jason walked out of the Burger King. The lady began to laugh again and said that he's got a lot comin for him when he starts.
Jason didn't have a car, but he only lived 2 blocks away from Burger King, so it wouldn't be a problem for him. He got back to his house at about 12:10pm and didn't know what to do with his time until them. He decided to go on the computer again to check his nation at www.nationstates.net  because its such a FUN game! He hasn't been involved in it lately, so he didn't stay on very long. After that, he decided to read a book called, And Then There Were None for a bit. It is a mystery novel and he loved those. The time went by very quickly, and before he knew it, the clock said 3:30pm. Jason was almost finished with his book, but he had his priorities in order, and set the book down to get ready for the interview. Jason got dressed up in a suit and tie, and walked down to Burger King. The way he walked showed how confident he was about getting this job. By the time he got there, it was 3:55pm exactly, and he walked up to the counter again, seeing the lady, looking crabbier than ever.
"Good afternoon sunshine!" the lady said sarcastically. "Let's get down to it, follow me."
The lady took Jason to the back room to give him his interview. Who would have known that this Burger King was going to see the craziest couple months of its history. They'd better be prepared cause all hell was going to break lose...in time.
