OOC: The Blirtz Corps (given their full name) are an elite battle unit of the SteamEarth military. They relie mainly on infanty supported by heavy weaponry and of course the all faithful Blirtz Rifle, hence their name. This is the story of a squad under the command of Sargeant James Midnight and his second-in-command Corporal 'Scabbs'.
Their job is to mainly train new recuits by leading them into hell and back again if possible which if of course what High Command hopes.

The chilled air blew lightly across the forst kissed parade square, where a squad of new recuits stood neatly in line despite the cold. A Lieutenant stood addressing the young troopers whilst a Sargeant and a Corporal stood to his left, both clearly wishing that they were somewhere warmer.
The Lieutenant went on with his speech. "......and so Sargeant Midnight and Corporal 'Scabbs' here will be your commanding officers for your first patrol mission into Ruskkie territory. That is all, I now hand you over to Sargeant Midnight."
Midnight looked dumbfolded was moment. "W-what? Oh yeah.........alright squad, squad ATTENTION!"
The squad of recuits quickly straightened up and awaited Midnight's orders. "We kicked out via blimp at 1300 hours, so get yer arse in gear and pack yer gear. Squad DISMISSED!"
The recuits head staright for their barracks whilst the Lieutenant had a few last words with Midnight. "Remember they're only recuits and High Command will be breathing down my neck if you don't bring them back."
"You can count on me sur, don't ya 'orry!"
"Thats what I'm afaird of."
