OOC: There's been a lot of complaints lately, and some might even be well placed. But I must say something, if you're moderator and ask people to cease posting in a thread, why just don't lock it? and then unlock it when needed? Is it me or is that impossible to do?

I'm starting to grow tired of this game, it seems as if a lot of people thinks this game is all about winning, another awful lot of people thinks it's all about whining. I usually don't complain, but this shit is getting on my nerves, I've been shouted at several times for several different reasons.

1) because I didn't post numbers... This not only almost caused me to be ignored, but also people tried to destroy the time and effort I put down on RP.

If people needs a fucking list everytime I do something, I could do that. I could do a NOOB list and just write down a shitload of numbers and everyone would be happy or?

and how come people complain on one side but not when their allies do the same thing? This all winning thing has made NS so filled with hipocrates that there's almost as many as there are battleships in a well known powergamers fleet.

2) Because I tried to RP, in a place where there as far as I knew only was me and an opponenet with whom I already had spoke and we already agreed of the outcome.

3) Because I didn't roleplay the building of my fleets. It wasn't enough that I stated a fleet in april last year. Because even worse, those threads were purged and that made my fleet coming out of my arse..

Who makes the rules in a free Roleplay? Should I be forced to play the way other people do? Who sets the standards everyone else HAS to follow? Why doesn't the complainers allies follow the same rules and don't get ignored? This looks more and more like a powergame where everyone tries to show who has the biggest steel penis, and most people doesn't get the Irony.

I thought we made some RP's to have fun, not to try to WIN this fucking game!! Because you can't win it. Try to detach yourself from your precious characters and see it as a game not your private roleplay where your OMG!!11 HOOGE!! Character or Nation is the leader of the world. This is getting ridicilous... #%"# you and the horse you rode in on

IC: To be cut into the bonecave when it seems fit.

And the sky was filled with fire.

Over a hundred ships broke off, including three of the ramships, making straight for the Veganan vessels, their weapons thundering... the three ramships blazed forwards, one towards each enemy ship.

Aided by the massively powerful sensor arrays assembled far below only hours before, Angband and its surround was lit up and laid out before them despite the mystical Vala-wrought smog that wreathed it. Cannons blazed, inverse-pulse missiles thundered, and anything of the Enemy or his allies that was unfortunate enough to fall within the sights of the ships or even to wander into their engagement envelope was met with withering and terrible firepower… it was horrifyingly massive bombardment on a nation-wide scale, and with seven hundred ships, the fleet had the firepower to do it.

OOC: Sorry, I thought we should refrain from posting here for a while, so I didn't answer. Not that it matters as much.

Captain Staffan Westerberg watched the screen go crazy as it suddenly read the patterns of a huge amount of ships entering his range.

"The Elves! They have come back! Fire! FIRE!"

The Great battleship begun to play its deadly concerto, built for delivering terrible blows to enemy ships. The space turned light for a moment as the battleship released it's lethal load against the onoming ships, being set to receive charge for weeks over Arda, they had had plenty of time to practice this. As the Ramships came closer, the agile destroyers easily dodged them dancing around flaring torpedoes leaving their hulls, but the numbers they encountered were to big and even as they avoided many shots, dodging like ferrets around the ramships, trying to use it as cover, they finally went down in blazes of fire.

Captain Westerberg watched the ramships come closer. His ship was neither fast nor agile enough to evade the ramship, it was more built for defense like a floating fortress. He tried to focus his fire on the crafts around the ramships, watching as his destroyers went down. He looked at the ramship closing in, it almost filled his screen now. Here comes the pain... he thought...
