i am new to NationStates!
can someone explan to me how does the UN work?

yeah, the UN is an organization of nations that debate on the various proposal presented before them. Then they vote. If the proposal is voted in, all UN nations will have their status change, in the respective field of effect (civil rights, political rights, Economy).
Why don't you come and hang out with us in my region? Click on my nation's name, and then click on "View nation" or whatever it says, and click on the region I'm in. Once there, simply follow the steps near the top of the page to move your nation to the region. Hope to see you there!
