As it stand, ‘The Pact’ now has three signatory nations in total. His Highness, the Grand Duke was quoted as saying:

It is only natural that three nations like ours, allied for years on end and sharing a magnificent history of mutual aid and support and with friendly relations ever blooming to consolidate their position in the International Community.

His Highness then added:

No, no and no! This is not an official and legal confirmation of the ‘SFN Trio of Evil’. No, neither the ‘SFN Evil Trio’. Security, I believe the gentleman from the 'Vigvar Daily' has an urgent appointment outside of the Palace.

Earlier today, confirmation was given exclusively to this paper by an unnamed source, that the Daiamid Chairman Lord Delendre has travekked to Vigvar in his personal aerodyne today, in order to co-sign "The Pact". The Pact is a fairly new agreement, of which the other signatory nations are Der Angst and the Grand Duchy of Tarasovka. Political analists of Kiithid Nabaal and Paktu have analysed those parts of the Pact that are open to public viewing, and have concluded that this agreement will effectively ensure that if one signatory nation suffers an attack, the others will always join in and help them.

Those Daiamid Council members that we managed to ask a few questions on the subject, all replied that they saw this signing of the Pact as a re-confirmation of the strong military, poilitical and cultural ties between DA, TVC and GDT.

ABC: "Totay, the Vortex Corporation joined 'The Pact', a very new bilateral (now multilateral) agreement between DA & GDT, and now the Vortex corporation. Council members were quoted that 'This is yet another step to secure the diplomatic stability inside one of the more quiet, but nonetheless major, powerblocks in the world. The return of the Vortex Corporation could be a signal for a new period of time... a time that will be remembered.'

It is not known which 'non- public' passages 'The Pact' includes, but we are certain that they are for the best of everyone... inside it."

Earlier today, several elements of both the orbital and ground forces left their bases after a quick mobilization. After quick enquiries with several military headfigures, it was confirmed that several fleet elements, as well as infantry and hoverdyne regiments have left for Der Angst and Tarasovka in order to execute joint exercises and small-scale wargames with their armed forces. In a press release, R. Stone-Soban 'Sa, military head of the Corporation and patriarch of the Soban Kiith, stated:

The signing of the Pact necessitates a degree of co-operation between our three nations that goes even beyond that of the SFN. As it stands, we are looking to completely integrate our three armies, in a sence that they are totally familiar with each other's tactics, strategies and norms and values. This will ensure that in times of war, our three nations can face our enemies as one unified army. Of course, this will also benefit the SFN in the long term, as it will create a hard core of troops that can immediately jump to react to any threat. Also, this additional training might also strengthen the ranks of the SRDF, but that is not a primary intention of these exercises
