Superpowers of NS! list them here!
Who do you think are the superpowers on Nationstates? Also, who do you think has:
Most powerful economy?
Most powerful military?
Most powerful modern tech?
Most powerful future tech?
Most powerful fantasy nation?

There are no real superpowers. Perhaps some alliances could been seen as superpowers, in which case SATO for one for sure.
Is fantasy/future(like Menelmacar) fantasy or future?
Is fantasy/modern fantasy or modern?
Economy stats can be found on the UN report, military can surely be guessed at from it.

:?
With the number of Modified and Experimental Battleships I have, I would be a Super Power in World War Two, but not here.

Well typical fantasy tech is medival to 1600's level tech, maybe with some 'steampunk' stuff in it...
Most of those nations won't RP(if they are strict about who they RP with) with a nation of space elves or dwarves with tanks.
OOC: I sometimes wonder that when people want this information that the nations provided suddenly get a whole bunch of spam saying "Join my region!" Not saying this is your purpose PMI, but perhaps others have used this technique.
We consider ourselves to be a superpower, with a frightening economy, over two billion citizens, and a tech level inbetween modern and future tech. (Like current tech to 2050 level.)
OOC:
All super powers ceased to exist around May. There was maybe 2-4 big alliances that everyone feared, 10 nations that everyone feared, but now, everyone thinks they are hot shots. So no, super powers no longer exist.

are you high? SATO has been falling apart for months, while other ahem alliances have continued to grow. SATO = owned.
The days of superpowers ended when M.A.D. began to apply to everyone. Now that most of the NS universe has WMDs there can be no true "superpowers". Any two-week-old nation with an attitude can glass a modern nation, and then the nukes start flying. Then everyone is dead and the nations agree to pretend it never happened. Same thing with future tech. Enough people have planet/star destroyers that no one nation can claim dominion over the others. It's like, sure, you may be able to obliterate me with your vast fleets; but then I send my super ship to blow up your solar system. Then the other nation bitches that you can't do that. When you point out their own super ship, they mysteriously stop posting and the conflict is, once again, ignored. WMDs make war a bitch, and individual military might irrelevant.

Most powerful future tech?
What do you mean by powerful? Since there is another catagory for military, you must mean something else.
Anyhow...I'd have to nominate myself for that...and while I couldn't use some of my tech in the name of fair RP...it is still there. I also didn't just say, "Steel Butterfly Invents Blah Blah Blah", I RPed everything out and wrote the tech in for better storytelling.
I am most likely the most advanced nation on NS. Now that doesn't necessarily mean military...but like I said...I don't think this catagory is about that.

OOC: Hmmm....I might have to agree there.

I think most would...
there are no restrictions...hense is the nature of open Rp...
If a day-old nation says that they are uber-strong because they existed before they were founded in RL, who's really stopping them?

"To know the pains of power, we must go to those who have it; to know its pleasures, we must go to those who are seeking it." -Charles Caleb Colton
I believe the real question here is "What Is Power Exactly?"

Power is what others think of you. Hense why Menelmacar and Melkor, easily not near the strongest of nations stat-wise, or even tech wise, are so widely feared.
Few nations even have the right to be called a Power in NationStates these days, and a very rare handful have the right to call themselves a Superpower. Some alliances can be very powerful, and be considered even superpowers of their own, but these are few a far between. Back in the days when I first joined, when the original GDODAD and WMNK existed, they were superpowered alliances. GDODAD had over a hundred nations in it, including some powers and several superpowers. WMNK was the same, but with slightly less members than GDODAD.
Now the definitions have declined. It seems to be that anyone with WMDs thinks they're a supoerpower, which simply isn't true. I'm approaching a year of having been at NS and I wouldn't even consider myself close to a Superpower. I'd call myself a Power if I had to, but I'd call myself a diplomat first of all. Why fight if you can avoid it? Why classify yourself Superpower?
I would say that there are only a few nations that can call themselves Superpowers. Three I can think of off the top of my head:
Menelmacar
Iesus Christi
Melkor
All three nations have power, size, influence ... the list goes on, and on, and on.
Menelmacar and Melkor
Don't know'em....perhaps Melkor....dunno....hmm.....

It hardly matters once everyone has WMD's.
