Taiwan to create constitution

_Taiwan

It was a hot and humid monsoon summers day outdoors. The streets were filled with hundreds of citizens, enjoying a rare sunny break from the monsoon rains that regularly swept over the country at this time of the year.

Inside the Taipei Presidential Palace however, it was freezing cold - partly because the industrial strength air conditioner was running at full steam, and partly because the debate over whether to draft a consitution had caused tempers to flare.

Parliament was split evenly. Right down the middle, like chopping a large pie. With President Chen's Democratic Progressive Party on one side, and the Kuomintang on the other both arguing frantically with each other. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

"We must create a constitution to prevent erosion of civil rights further," Chen argued. To those who accused him of provoking China, he said that "We have already changed our title to Republic of Taiwan, which implies and indepedent state. There is no need to declare independence, so creating a constitution will not be an act of provokation."

Chen's speech sealed the vote. Taiwan will begin work on a constitution immediately.

"Our allies in Xiaguo need not worry. Taiwan does not need to declare independence, because independence was implied in changing the name of the nation to the Republic of Taiwan."

As the Armed Republic of Sino has long been standing against Taiwanese separatism and as we act on instict, we have no choice but to publically announce the existance of our cell in Kaohsiung.

We would like to officially announce the existance of the United China Party.

The United China Party (currently under 'grouped leadership') has yet to find a leader but it will compete in the next elections. The United China Party currently has a membership of over 500, including military personnel, youth, elderly and business owners. Most of the current leaders had been trained in Sino's famous Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Academy of Chinese Nationalism. Some have also received basic military training.

The United China Party has announced a public rally in Kaosiung's stadium. Events featured include a live (via satellite) speech by General Liu, march of the United China Party Youth Corps and their adult counterparts- the Red Flags. We expect many to turn up.

The more militant wing of the United China Party will dress in uniforms similar to those of ROCA troops in WWII. We must be reminded of the nationalism- the nationalism when we were united against one common enemy. Now, that enemy is separatism. The United China Party does not descriminate based on social class, our membership is open to all who regard themselves as Chinese and want Chen dead!

=================================================
Very Similiar, Xiaguo has 4 main Practicing Parties=

United China Party
-(Developed from Sino) Gaining Members fast, about 200 members have been confirmed. The beliefs are very similiar to Asian Union Party but differs by millitary issues. This is quickly gaining members mainly in Hanhai, Xiaguo's 2nd largest city.
--Mainly regular Citizens such as workers, farmers, teachers, mayors, students, secretaries, etc. Mainly Middle Class

Asian Union Party
-(Newly developed Under Yeh) A party whose structural bases on Anti-Separatism, Government reform, and Social Services. This Party was created soon after the United China Party but had many supporters before it was fficially created. General yeh, who had began this Party has a plan of reforming Xioaguo after remarking Xiaguo's Government as corrupt. Which led President Dao Min Ju to side away from Yeh. Yeh then began his Party which surprisingly very different from the Communist-Nationalist Joint Party which he had once been a member of.
--Mainly Peasants, workers, community officials, teachers, and etc. Mainly Lower and Middle Class.

Communist-Nationalist Joint Party
-(Developed by Millitary generals during war with Japann which led to a reform in Xiaguo's Parliament.)This party was the main party of Xiaguo for a very long time. It was a combination of Powerful nationalism and Basic Communism. Supported by Dao Min Ju, and formerly by yeh but after quarrels with Dao Min Ju with Millitary, Social, and Spending Issues.
--Mainly Government officials, elderly, generals, and etc. Mainly Upper Class.

Xiannese Equal Rights Party-
(Developed by Xiannese Civil Rights Activists) This Party was underdeveloped and was losing members. Its comeback during the War with Japann has greatly influenced and revived the thought of Asian Unity. It is asked to be also joined with the United China Party, and also the Asian Union Party. Although the Party had no comment at the moment, they are actually ready to be joined in a Bigger and more powerful Party. This party was second oldest and was a competant party against the Communist-Nationalist Joint party. The Communist-Nationalist party was accused of having not enough rights for Fellow Xiannese Citizens.
--Mainly students, social workers, workers, religous people, artists, millitary, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes approve of this Party. It can be stated as a party that simply gave rights to everyone. After Yeh's departure of the Communist-nationalist Party, the citizens will overall certainly vote for a different party. Although the the new parties have not voted for a leader yet, this time Yeh has declined an invitation, there will be an election sometime soon in the future.
=================================================
However, the United China Party and Asian Union Party has been working together to reform the Xiannese Government. Although this may sound bad, the laws did not have anything to say about this therefore free Parties may be held. Although Dao Min is very unhappy about this, he stuffs it in and keeps on his presidency.

Yeh will represent the two parties and will make speeches to the public in 4 cities, Hanhai, Taipeng, Mongut, and Jiangjin. Hoping to have the general public aware and to enlist more members. This may result in something bad.

OOC:I'm thinking of a Civil war to overthrow Xiaguo's Communist-Nationalist Joint Party. I want to get rid of it. I don't know if its even a good RP idea, maybe I'll just post it up on the Region Forum.

-Secret Message to Taiwanese Government-
-From the Hudecian Foreign Ministry-

The government of Hudecia wishes all the best for your efforts to create a constitution. However, we are confused as to the status which your government is claiming.

Is the government of Taiwan seeking to be recognized as an independent nation?

Secondly, would it be possible for Hudecian sailors to be given temporary shore leave in Taiwan? Our navy remains ready to support our allies and so must extend its stay, but the crew badly needs a break.

The United China Party, Asian Union Party, and The Xiannese Equal Rights Party has announced their Joining. The Party, with about 1.8 million Members combined can easily oust the Communist-Nationalist Party with only about 1.2 million members.

The first Campaign will be at Hanhai, the largest city and also the main city for the Newly Formed Party, adopting the name, Confederate Chinese Union.

Dao min Ju, now very mad demands the party to dissassemble. He sends about 7,000 troops to Hanhai's perimeter. Yeh, fairly angered by this movement demands Dao back to stop this as Free Party is stated in the Xiannese Constitution. Dao quickly went to the capital and did away the constitution. The nation elevates through a troubled time. Yeh himself orders the City of Hanhai to barricade itself, he sends requests for reinfforcements from Changjing, South of Taipeng, the answer was yes, Dao's forces have already pushed them southwards. A band of 20,000 troops match southward, Dao's small army of 7,000 quickly moves west and retreat from this band of troops. Yeh's total army now reaches about 30,000. Dao orders Yeh to disband the militia and he will also stop attacking. They agreed and the amry had retreated back to Taipeng and Changjing while Yeh's forces dissolve into Hanhai until it was safe. This was the healing newspaper throughout the nation. the constitution was however rewritten, this time, having Xiaguo turned into a Millitary Dictatorship. However, Dao remains neutral to Yeh.

Kaohsiung Harbor: Midnight

A freighter with Hong Kongnese registration sailed into the harbor of Kaohsiung. A few secret members of the Red Flags (the milita of the United China Party) were there to inspect the cargo, then trucks will come to take them back to the Party's compound of abandoned warehouses that once were part of a large factory.

The Red Flags (dressed in civilian clothing with trenchcoats and dark sunglasses) had inspected the cargo in place of the ROTA Customs, after all a heavy suitcase found its way to the Harbor Master's desk with a note attached inside.

"Fingers crossed." A young Captain said to his one of men, who were already on board checking. He hung up on his cellphone.

"If there's a botch up, Chen will have my ass on the platter." He turned to the driver of the Mercedes Benz, parked not far from the site.

The The Confederate China Union is also agreeing with what Sino has to say. Secret organizations have begun to work against Taiwan's Independence. The Red Scarves which had begun during the Japannese war against separatists are now up again and have worked hard to dissable components or machines being shipped to Taiwan. rumour has it, that it is also preparingan attack on Taiwan with about 500secret operatives which have been also rumoured to be supported by The ederat China Party which has its roots to Sino's United China Party.

Harbour inspectors have given the cargo exempt status...

It was over two hours ago before the Captain mentioned "good work" to his troops on board the cargo ship. Now the good are back in the compound.

Now he checks to see that what came from Sino was as good as the rumours go.

He runs his finger along the stock of Sinoese-copied M16A1, feeling the quality of craftsmanship. Someday, this rifle will do that nationalist cause some good.
