Light rippled at the edge of the system, and twelve ships blinked into existence, their impeller nodes glowing as they bled off the transit energy from hyper. Rear Admiral Douglas relaxed in his command chair on the flag bridge of VNS Glorioso, flagship of Battleship Squadron V. He looked over at the holographic map of the system, already displaying data as the ships sensors went active. A couple dozen blue dots surrounded the third planet, Erewohn. They represented the vessels of the Erewohnian Space Navy, all bought from the Gregor Corporation. "Transmit to Primero Holtzman: Convoy has arrived, we expect to be in orbit in twelve hours."
The six battleships formed a protective formation around the six freighters, and the convoy swept inwards toward Erewohn.
