I am posting this for everyone to post phrases, names, etc people need to know, and for newbies to learn.

LIST MORE TERMS, ETC PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW IF NOT LISTED!

To start off the list:

NS - Nationstates
RP - Role Play
WMD - Weapons of Mass Destruction
AMF - Automagfreek
GDODAD - Global (or Galactic for space-nations) Dominion of Dictators Against Democracy
Mod Squad - NationStates Monitors
Fantacy-RP - Things such as magic, dragons, elfs, etc are used
Space-Tech (RP) - Nations who are in space (and the Role Play is based on Space Tech)
Open-RP - Anyone can join the Role Play
Invite-RP - Invitee's only Role Play
Story-RP - It's a story-like Role Play (no nations, we're talking specific characters interacting with eachother, such as a school, a competition, etc)
OOC: Out of Character
IC: In character
CO = Two different things. First: Co-operative; Second: Charactor-Oriented (you are a character, not a nation, in a story-RP)
USD = United States Dollar
Not exactly NS terms but still used and needed to be understood
1337 = Elite
n00x = Nuke(d)
teh = the
pwn(ed) = owned or obliterated
n00b = new player, difers from newbie by being incompotent
Newbie: New player, has not yet learned the rules of enguagementBUMP - A post put there to move a topic back up to the top of the forum list. Again, some people get very creative with bump posts, while other just say *Bump*
TAG - Means you will get back on this threat later (maybe because you're doing homework, but want to join in when you get time. Then you'd post 'TAG')
Serious RP - No flame wars allowed.. it's serious, only RP game...
UN Category - What kind of Government you have, and what your nation is.. (e.i.: Democratic Socialists, Left-wing Utopia, Liberal Democratic Socialists, Father Knows Best State, and Corporate Police State to name just a few)
UN - United Nations
Sovereignty - The right to run your nation as you wish (there are limits, though... slavery is on the border, genocide is outside the limits, meaning... don't do it, because not even your sovereignty will save you from the back-lash.
The RBA - The Red Bloc Army
The CFA - The Coalition Forces Alliance
Acigoo - Story line behind this now-imfamous stuff... it's pretty much acidic goo stuff that came from space and keeps growing and will burn anything it touches (very acidic), and spawns stuff... it's a WMD that could end life as we know it... (Bajon, if you read this, could you be my guess in all the technical stuff?)
Godmoder: Someone who refuses to play fairly. This word is far too overused, and quite often the people yelling Godmoder are just mad that they got outsmarted.
Ignore Cannon - Well, if the 'Ignore Cannon' is fired, the person(s) it is fired at is being ignored, in other words, even if they try to RP, attack the person ignoring them, etc, they will be ignored and and their actioned voided. The 'Ignore Cannon' is just a term saying not to do something or you will be ignored
Terraforming - Not gonna go into all the techy stuff, but basicly a process of making Mars and other planets with an atmosphere able to sustain life (and then it will turn green :-))
Modern Tech - Pretty self explainatory... You're using todays technology, no more, no less
Near-future Tech - That's within the next 20-50 years. We're not talking about being able to go across the galaxy, though living on moon or mars is quite possible
Future Tech - This is 100-200 years in the future tech-wise, so you can travel in space, though not across the galaxy most likely, but living on Mars, on the moon, housing in ships in space and terraforming are quite the norm
Space Tech - Here's where you can travel in space, explore, find, and colonize planets in the next galaxy, have planet-destroying technology, etc. It can get pretty crazy!
GDP - Gross Domestic Product, money your nation has
GDPCalc - Gross Domestic Product Calculator
ADN - Allied Defense Network
NATO - North Atlantic Treaty Organization
UN Delegate - The elected representative of a region. Can vote on the passing (or rejecting) of proposals to be submitted for general voting (see UN Terms) and when a delegate votes on a proposal that's up for vote his/her endorsements are added on to the votes that he/she casts. Can also (unless the founder of the region bars him/her access to Regional Control) eject and ban nations, edit his/her region's World Factbook Entry and password-protect the region, change the current password or take the current password away. Only the UN members of a region can endorse (and hence elect) a UN Delegate.
Region Hopping - Moving a nation from one region to another in quick progression, usually using a special program (script) to do so.
Puppet - Additional nations owned by a single person
Pop - Population
w00t - Yay, or variation
Semi-Invite RP - Private/closed RP, but may join with permission
Pic Warning - Warning people on slower internets there's picture(s) in the thread
Double-post, triple-post, etc - Accidentally made more then one of the same posts
TG - Telegram (Go to a nation's page, scroll down, you can send a message. That is called a 'Telegram')
Mod - Monitor
IRC - Internet Relay Chat (special chat line)
Ex-Nation - Nation that no longer exists
Terra - Another name for Earth
Sol - The name of the Solar System we are in (that is, Earth/Terra)
Terran Planet - A planet, like Earth, that can sustain life
**** Class Battleship, Destroyer, etc - The type of battleshield, Destroyer, etc it is

IC: In character
CO = Co-operative

Also newbie. The difference between n00b and newbie is quite extreme, yet often overlooked.

A newbie is merely a new player who is unfamiliar with the rules of the site, wheras a n00b is an incompetent player regardless of age

That's an appropriately named Character RP. :D

TAG: A short post put in a topic so it can be found later with the search engine. Some people get very creative when writing TAG posts.

BUMP: A post put there to move a topic back up to the top of the forum list. Again, some people get very creative with bump posts, while other just say *Bump*

not really Earth is, by defonition, dirt, we called "Earth" earth because thats what it is, the real name of the planet is Terra

Puppeteer/Puppet Whore - Player who brings numerous puppets into play when cornered. Very bad RP. Can result it the following:

PuppetWank - War consisting of ever growing puppet armies.

TechWank - Ubertech out the ass, a never ending stream of tech that's so incredible no one can stop you... or so you think. Teleportation, galaxy busters, and phase cloak, please apply here.

MagiWank - Same, but for magic. Tends to include dragons, vamps, and immortality. Related to Jedi Wank.

Glassed - Nuked. Comes from sand to glass in blast.

Exterminatus - Big time dead. Often seen in DEATs.

DEAT - Moderator removal. Can be a post, thread, or nation.

RetCon - Retroactive Continuity - Going back and editting a post to remove a stupid move, such as walking into a trap. Bad RP.

Pointy Stick Brigade - The military left after a severe nuking.

Goatze - *shudder*

Terra - Earth

Luna - The Moon

Sol - The Sun

Sol System - Our solar system.

Terrans - Humans/Earth inhabiting creatures.

Big Red Button - the button that fires the n00x, usually used in a cartoony/having fun thread, looked as bad rping if its a serious thread. But, something funny such as it never hurts.

Puppet: A nation created by an already existing one for the purpose of supporting the original nation. Note that it is quite possible to have multiple nations that aren't puppets, if they all follow their own storylines. However, when there's one central "king" nation and a bunch of other servant nations, all played by the same person, then the servants are puppets. This is most commonly used in war RPs. (see Puppetwank, Puppeteer/Puppet Whore)
