General Invitation to National Leaders:

“In a hope to promote peace in this troubled time, I hereby cordially invite you to a ball of national leaders. Please dress in formal attire suitable for the occasion, and please, bring no weapons, security will be provided by the newly reformed Thelasi military.”

On the top of the massive Sairi Cuori, a small dome had been placed during construction. Labeled as an “observatory” the dome was really made for diplomatic receptions. Often used to receive VIPs from other countries, now was not different. People buisily moved left and right as the reception area was turned into a ballroom. In other parts of the Sairi Cuori, preparations of another sort were made, troops were everywhere, gun emplacements were being brought online, and fighters were flying, repeat of the Lavenrunz situation would not happen.

"Empress, I would be delighted to attend, and see how your nation is coming along. Expect my private jet to arrive within the next day. I shall be accompanied by a fighter escort, but they will leave when it enters your airspace."

As his jet came in, three Zero Fighters came down, their sleek bodies glimmering in the cold Thelasi sunlight. the three fighters were obviously have trouble maintaining such a sloww speed, but they kept escort.

As The Great Ineffable Bob stepped out of the jet, he commented to the waiting welcome delegation;
"Ah, a nice place you've got here. Very warm, compared to back home. We have the most awful weather you know, some of the worst in the world. It's a long time since I've been he...Actually, I don't think I ever have been here. Fancy that! Ah well. First to arrive, am I?"

The "delegation" was more like a platoon of troops, all in formation, the elf who greeted The great Ineffable Bob was a Thelasi Force Commander, Commander Kentherin, who was throne slightly off guard by Bob's remarks, "No Sir, you have never been here, in fact, none of the GDODAD leadership have even come to Thelas. Something I have always wondered about. Well, Sir, this way to the shuttle."

As he lead TGI Bob to the Thelasi shuttle, he tried to talk to the leader, "So, are any other GDODAD leaders arriving?"

The Aelosian shuttle landed after asking for clearance quickly opening the hatch and leveling the platform to the ground...

From the opening in the black form of the vessel, a figure covered entirely by a black cloak came out, followed by a pair of unarmed guards and a handful of courtiers. One of the latter raised an herald's banner and said "Duke Phaelos, personal advisor of the ShadowPrince and special envoy to Thelas announces himself".

"Hello Commander. It's nice to meet you. I'm unsure as to the reason why no GDODAD leaders have ever visited here, it does seem strange. Hm, an impressive shuttle, I must say. I haven't a clue as to whether any other GDODAD leaders will be attending, although it would be good to see some of them again. I've not seen Kane in ages...I look forward to meeting your Empress as well, I've heard good things about her. So, how long until we reach our destination?"

In responce to the Thelasi invitation:"Chancellor Paktu would be delighted to come,we being a part of the Thelas Star Empire and all..he wishes to have a small escort before arrival.Pirate trouble.."Spoken hurridley,secratary fashion.

I would but I have no space travel (yet). So If you want to work something out, I'll come.

A group of soldiers met Dukle Phaelos (A drow, isn't he?) one of the men, a Morchant Tirith commander, stepped forward. "Duke Phaelos, welcome to Thelas, your shuttle is right this way."

OOC: Okay, something to clear up, the people are landing on the surface, not on the station. They are being ferried up to the station by Thelasi shuttle

IC: Kentherin looked smiled, "Well, the Empress is quite intested in meeting the GDODAD leadership. She heard quite alot about you all from Theallas, but she never was privy to the meetings. As for time, another five minutes or so." He tilts his head as he listens to a radio transmition. He talks softly to himself, "My won't this be interesting"

A message was sent to United Hiigarans, "Chancellor Paktu will be welcomed."

"I see", said the Duke, "I'll follow your lead, my interest is too meet with Empress Ithenril as soon as possible, I have a message from the ShadowPrince to her".

OOC: So, are you on Earth? If you arn't, do you have a colony here? Cuz if you do, we could work something out that way. Oh, and I request to bring along 2 guards. Stats on them can be teleagramed if needed.

"So, Commander, which other leaders will be attending this event?"

Minister Volkezhein read the general invitation, laid it down carefully, then drummed his fingers on the tabletop, "Aren't Thelas the ones who were trying to shoot all humans in the head, not that long ago?"

"Hardly makes much difference, these days. I mean we were threatening to shoot all mimes out of a cannon, into the sun."

"Yes but we didn't invite them all for a drink and luxury dinner afterwards did we?"

"Probably only because we don't have the budget for that kind of thing. Just find someone expendable, tell him he's been promoted and if he gets beheaded by religious fanatics then we haven't lost anything."

The Thelasi nodded, "Very well then Duke, follow me." The Thelasi lead the Duke to a shuttle waiting on the landing pad. They got in, and the shuttle took off. Several minutes later, the small craft landed at a docking bay on the station. "Sir, follow me to the main hall." Off to the side, the duke could see another party getting off of another dropship, although the specific ambasador was obscured by the troops.

I would be delighted to attend the ball. I will be arrivng shortly via jet. Thank you for the invataion; i look forward to the party.

The shuttle came down with a slight bump.
Getting off, TGI Bob admired the palace.
"Quite an impressive place you've got here. That dome I saw from above, is that where the ball shall be being held?"

Prince Douglass's jet streamed down the runway and screechd to a stop. A few minutes later, Douglass jumped out, yawned, streached his legs, and looked around.

"Nice place, Thelas. never been here before." He turned as a Thelasi approched him. "Hello there. Were are we going for the ball?
