OOC: An Idea

OOc: Okay so I was thinking, as I looked through some RPs most people rather like to create their own stories rather than go along with the wait and see appraoch, going with the flow of other people's responses. It's instinctual I guess. And when people are in RPs there is also some instinct to have one's charecter dominate it. Well since a great majority wants such strings of shorts stories I got this idea.

A very loose RP which will be nothing more than a string of loosely related short stories. Wait! Before you press that back button on your mouse or on your browser, hear me out. Sure it sounds kind of stupid when voiced in a short sentence like that, but have a little patience. Okay so see here...

Somebody starts out with a short story (a relatively long post... something more than a couple of paragraphs preferably) about a certain charecter at a certain place doing something--something interesting is occuring (obviously), well the person writing the story includes other charecters (anything from one line mentioning some onlooker on the street to a chareceter very much involved in the plot).

Then another person posts as one of the mentioned charecters offering another perspective to what happened in the other person's story and extending it to any arbitrary direction (that is within reason). So this will continue in this chain of many short stories of distinct charecters.

Now you don't have to really stick to the story originally started, you could bring in a whole different plot. For example, some mafia assasination is witnessed by one person who turns out to be a vampire, who goes along killing people, when one of his victims turns out to be an alien, and who manages to escape the vampire's grasp only to be captured by the government, killed and disected. In this way genres could be mixed and mingled. So what do you guys think about this?

If you are thinking of participating when this goes underway please voice this here. Because if no one is planning to participate there is no real reason for me to start this thing in the first place.
