Okay, many people know about the Dozle invasion of me. If you don't know about it, then you are hearing about it now. Congratulations!
Well, the thread we made about it on the NS forums disappeared for me (not for anybody else, just me) and I couldn't recover it (not even by clicking on a direct link). So, we moved it to the TROUSRs back-up forum, but that had problems. We eventually just got fed up and talked it all over in an IM chat. Here's what happened.
1) Dozle appears in the Ross128 system and attacks the military base there
2) He defeats the Ross128 station and moves on to my capital system of Deneb
3) We eventually fight to draw, he's not able to take the system and I can't force him out
4) Eventually, I get a really nifty idea. I use some experimental cloaked ships to fly right through his HEPD fields and attach several unrestricted Harbinger Warheads directly to the hulls of his ships
5) Those ships go BOOM and I'm able to throw him out of Deneb
6) He retreats back to Ross128 where I persue, with us locked in a really nifty death battle
7) I begin to get the upper hand (thanks to the ships knocked out by the afore mentioned Harbinger Warheads) when Dozle uses some nifty space type weapon to make the systems sun go Nova
8 ) After the Nova he and his ships flee, and leave me in Ross128 to lick my wounds and rebuild the military base (and celebrate for kicking Dozle's ass all over the Universe!)
