The Speaker's Office
Starbridge, Patoxia

“Speaker, General Watie wants to see you in the war room, it's urgent.”

James Dermont looked up from his pile of papers on his ancient desk to see the familiar face of his personal secretary Louis Golbalcheov.

“Want's he want this time? The damn pirates again?” Dermont asked

“Yes, Sir. He instructed me to tell you to hurry.”

“Alright, fine I'll get to these finance reports later then.”

James Dermont shoved the papers in to a manila folder, and shut off the desk lamp, it felt cold to the touch tonight. That always made him worry, things usually went badly wrong when that lamp was cold. He eased himself out of the chair and began to walk reluctantly across the room.

He walked out into the hallway and suddenly a pair of hands grabbed him and a damp cloth was shoved into his face. He began to feel dizzy as he futilely tried to break the hold of whoever was holding him. “Where was Golbalcheov, why isn't he...?” was his final thought as the world turned black and he felt himself being lowered as his legs turned to mush.

Golbalcheov set the body on the ground and turned to see a tall man dressed in rich silk.

“You have done well.” he announced.

“Thank you, your Imperial Majesty.” Golbalcheov said with a curt bow.

*More Gunshots*

Greetings, Citizens of Patoxia! Today begins a new glorious era! Tyranny has been deposed! Nicholas Tokugawa has been crowned the emperor of the Imperial Confederation of Patoxia!

He is descended from the noble lines of the Russian Tzars and Japan's Tokugawa Shogunate.

Rejoice! He rules with the people at his heart! The useless Confederate Congress has been dismissed and his first order of business has been to change the flag to a new design: White, dark blue, white horizontal striped flag with a red Hinomaru bordered in gold offset to the left containing a Russian Caravel of the 17th Century.

Keep listing to Patoxian Imperial News for further updates!

Zeke's Anchorage
Atop Zeke's Peak, Patoxia

Thomas Wolf stepped into Zeke's Anchorage, immediately the mixed smell of gasoline, oil, gunpowder, alcohol, and unwashed men rushed into his nostril forcing him to step back for an instant. Every time he came here it had the same smell... but it was hive of scum and villainy after all, he guessed it would not do well to have a pervading lemony fresh scent.

“Come on Boss! The meeting's starting soon!” yelled, his chief engineer, John “Sparks” Robinson clutching a mug of beer.

“Sparks, no matter how many times we come here, I can't ever get use to this God damn stench!”

“Come on boss, you complain about this every time we come!”

“Yes I know... Sparks get a mop and some cleaning supplies from the Timber Wolf...”

Sparks eyes became wide and he dropped his mug with a shattering crash sending glass shards and amber liquid scattering in all directions. Suddenly Wolf started laughing so hard that he dropped to the ground. “Goddamn Sparks! You thought I was serious!?” Wolf hollered, “The look on your face was priceless!” Slowly Sparks started to chuckle as well, but suddenly they stopped when a man dressed in black and red with a Cobra emblem walked in.

“You God damn traitor, there are lines and there are lines! You crossed them when you attacked an innocent crowd for the hell of it Wescott.” Wolf shouted towards the man as he got up off the ground.

“And the Wolf's Pack is a Paragon of virtue, Thomas?”

“We don't fire on innocent people! You may have been a trusted friend and wingman once, Brian, but mark my words if we ever meet in battle... I will have no mercy.”

“That's the problem with you Wolf, you have this damn artificial honor, we could have gotten so much more if not for... honor this, and honor that. You're pathetic!”

“Why you...!”

“Break it up ya two!” yelled a guard running into the room with a revolver, “we will have no fighting here, we have an important guest.”

Wolf and Wescott stared hatefully at each other for a second, then both began walking to the Great Hall.

The Great Hall
Zeke's Anchorage

Thomas Wolf took a seat next to his men, the room was jam packed and a dull roar of conversation was filling the room. He couldn't recall when the hall was ever this full before, it seemed that every major gang that had any dealings in the Far East was here, and it smelled worse then ever. He even saw James Raynor of the Skullz, the skullz almost never came to Zeke's Anchorage. Come to think of it he did have an unusually hard time finding a place for his zeppelin the Tiber Wolf to anchor.

After a while a tall, finely dressed man with Japanese and European features strolled into the chamber with an ancient looking saber at his hip, as the crowd fell silent... except for one man.

“Who's the God damn half-breed?” Brian Wescott yelled.

“We are Emperor Nicholas Tokugawa of the Imperial Confederation of Patoxia!” the man replied angerly.

“Get off the stage and talk about your fantasy kingdom off in a dead end alley like a good demented wacko!”

“Shut up Wescott! Don't you ever listen to the news! He overthrew the government in Starbridge! That's the Sword of the Confederacy at his side!” Yelled Raynor.

“Well then, he sounds like my kind of person...” said Wescott while calmly lighting a cigar.

“Despicable rogues and curs, though it pains us greatly to deal with the likes of you... We feel that we must in order to counter the godless communists, and other rebels scum we must seek your assistance... That is why we are prepared to look the other way while you carry out your “business enterprises” in exchange for your cooperation in keeping the rebels under control. We are also prepared to sweeten the deal with...”

Several men then came into the room and began piling briefcases on a nearby table. The Emperor picked up one of these briefcases and opened it revealing a large amount of Confederate Gems, the diamond shaped coins that served as Patoxia's currency, “This.” said the Emperor to roar of approval.

“How come you didn't take a briefcase boss?” Sparks asked when they were back on the Timber Wolf. “I don't like it... Dermont may have been a poor ruler but... it just ain't right.”answered Wolf.

Thomas Wolf then went into his cabin and sat down, wondering what the future would hold for his nation...

OOC: This is a set up for the USSR civil war or my own Civil War depending on whether or not the USSR Civil War happens (There is currently a disagreement going on about it). So no attacks.

Sorry, It is going to be on the USSR's Forums page and it's going to be 100% internal. Also, I'm the only one who uses zeps in the USSR, I think :D. But I would like more info on these "Dreadnuaght class zeps" of yours.

While waiting on the forums yesterday, I got bored and made a pic of Emperor Tokugawa:

OOC: These Dreadnuaght class zeps of mine are basically heavily armoured military zeps built for war. The paragraph below gives an idea.

'If Paladin had to pick one zeppelin to command, however, it would be his Aegis. She had extra gasbags in the nose and tail sections and in parts of the cargo hold. The extra lift compensated for her double layer of armor; she wasn't as nimble as Perseverance, but she could take a beating and keep on coming She had double machine guns mounted on every engine nacelle, seven-inch cannons on the gunnery deck, and between them, racks of rocket tubes. The Aegis had not been designed to carry cargo—she was a war machine.'
