Snowball Fight Gone Mad
The title says it all.
We start with Bert, Freddie, Robin, etc. Just your usual kids. They wake up one morning to find five feet of snow on the lawn.
School's closed. The roads are blocked. Sleepytown is the center of a snowy, forested wasteland.
So what do they do? They have a snowball fight. It starts out small; Bert and Robin gang up to take down Freddie's small snow fort. Then Freddie calls in some pals from down the street. Twenty or so.
Then, Bert's dad shows up with a homemade catapult on the back of his pickup truck. The situation escalates from there...
Pretty soon, Freddie's gang numbers some sixty kids and a few adults, holed up in a abandoned warehouse on the south side of town. Bert and Robin's gang, while smaller, has mounted catapults on top of a small bus, and is terrorizing the neighborhood. There's reports of kids building a snowfort in the woods with ten-foot-high walls...
Now, Sleepytown is a war zone. Catapult-equipped trucks rumble through the streets, a small machine shop on the west side of town is churning out crossbow-style snow-guns, and Farmer Brown's chicken coop was just eliminated by Bert's prototype trebuchet. The local train station is under siege, and Freddie's building a new, rapid-fire snowball launcher.
Could be fun, don't you think?
