Today, I come before the world to announce the creation of a new allaince, UCEP, or United Conglomeration of Economic Powers. While not a militaristic alliance, UCEP's goal will be to stimulate trillions of dollars worth or trade between members. There will be enforced protection of trade routes to protect against such acts as piracy. Requirments and benefits are as follows:



Trillions of dollars worth of trade
Enforced protection of trade routes
Economic boost packages for below "Frightening" level countries


Requirements:



Invite only. Don't call us, we'll call you.
Must have an economy at least at "Powerhouse"
Must generate trade with all members
Must be ready to protect trade lines if neccessary.


The first round of invites have gone out, and I am awaiting responses. Through UCEP, our nations will see economic growth like never before. Through a greater economy comes a wealthier private sector, and a happier consumer.

The Republic is, of course, honored by your invitation. We shall accept on a tentative basis, due to the fact that any sort of final contract hasn't been reached. I'm sure though that this pact will become an economic force to be reckoned with.

The Dominion of Skager would be interested in applying. Our economy has been consistantly good and we have much need of trade wih others. We have worked together with AMF in the past and all went well.

Basically, benefits of UCEP are as follows.




Trillions of dollars worth of trade
Enforced protection of trade routes
Economic boost packages for below "Frightening" level countries


Trade will be unrestricted amongst members for starters. Any and all goods may be traded between members at no cost, but members can feel free to strike up deals with non-members.

Trade routes will be protected if neccessary. With all the dnagers in today's world, we must be ready to protect our goods from pirates and other scum. Althouth UCEP is not a militaristic alliance, UCEP members can petition for assistance if they are indeed in a conflict. If a certain member wishes to abstain from conflict, that is their right. Protecting trade routes is one thing, fighting a war is another.

If your economy is not where you want it, you can apply for an economic boost package. Depending on your need, you can recieve several billion dollars (maybe even higher depending on your need) to help give your economy a much needed kick in the ass.

For now, members will be on an invite only basis. You must have a high economy, at least at a "Powerhouse" level. Also, if ytou become a members, you have to trade with other members. You don't have to trade with all of them, but you can't simply join just to be in UCEP. Also, if trade routes are in danger, you must be ready to defend them. Loss of substantial goods will be bad for us all, so we must be ready and willing to protect our trade routes.
