Today an announcement was made by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Information that the Prelacy had ordered the execution of five men due to treason. The official announcement stated, "These men are traiterous in that they conspired against the Prelacy, at least two being known to have conspired to assassinate Prelates, and Ministers. The High Court of Aerion has found them guilty of treason, and the Prelacy has ordered their immediate execution."

These five men were:
Archbishop Adoer Wen, Primate of Aerion, Head of the Roman Catholic Church in Aerion

Lama Kyabje Elri Rinpoche - Most influential Buddhist leader, and teacher in Aerion.

Eldon Rusley - Most influential evangelist, often called the "Light of Protestantism" in Aerion.

Imam Alkean Orine - Most respected, and revered Muslim scholar in Aerion. Widely listened to by all Sunnis. President of the Aerion Muslim Coalition.

Rabbi Odk Din - Highly respected, and revered Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of Aerion.

They were reportedly lined up, publically, in the Central Forum in the Aerion capital of Astevane. There, they were shot by a military firing squad. Their bodies were then released to their families or close associations, for burial according to their beliefs.

Of course, the High Court of Aerion is appointed by the Chief Minister, who is himself appointed by the Prelacy.

Originally, from fear of the Divine Emperor, the people worshipped him through the Imperial Cult as the official state religion. All were afraid to practice their own beliefs other than in private. The Prelacy has continued to use the Divine Emperor as a propaganda tool, however the religious side of the worship has declined. Due to this decline, the influence of other religious leaders have been growing in Aerion. This seems to be the whispered reason why the Prelacy "removed" these men. Heavier patrols have been put around the homes of other lesser religious leaders, though they claim it is for the area, and not for their homes.

The Prelacy has officially established the Religious Regulatory Agency (RRA). They have appointed as Director Iketa Sadoin, former Deputy Minister of State Security. (Being /one/ of the secret police forces in Aerion). The Prelacy normally appoints the Chief Minister, whom appoints the Council of Ministers containing the various ministries. However, the Prelacy considered the RRA sensitive enough to directly appoint the Director. This is a portent according to past actions that the RRA will have broad powers. The Prelacy is the twenty member leading organ of the National Aerion Order, the fascist party of Aerion.

In recent actions, the Prelacy ordered the execution of two more individuals whom were deemed "traitors". They were shot by firing squad, once again, in the Central Forum.

High Priest Awero Delaki - Head of the Church of Wicca, and President of the National NeoPagan Alliance.

Eldan Erk - Environmentalist, Renowned Spiritual Author, and President of the National Council of Charities. Outspoken human right's activist.

This time, the bodies were markedly not given back to the families. Rumors are floating around that the RRA (Religious Regulatory Agency) has five hundred people under a watch list consisting of religious, and spiritual leaders who hold influence in the nation.

The Divine Emperor has disappeared, but the Prelacy uses him as a propaganda tool.

This Prelacy seems hardly honorable. An Ruler who is no honorable is hard to repect and impossable to trust.
