Cabinet meeting
The Hague, Knootoss
------------------------
Around the table were the cabinet meetings are normally held, the Knootian ministers were dancing the conga to exuberant music.
"Syskeyia is go-one, Syskeyia is go-one", sang the minister of defence, rather off-key.
The only person not dancing was Prime Minister van der Laan, who actually felt a bit sorry for the Syskeyians. "Come on, join in!" shouted the minister of domestic affairs who had always born the brunt of Syskeyian insults.
"No, its not a good day", she replied. "Its sad that this had to happen. Thats all."
She was thinking what to do next. There were decicions to be made now. "Rejoin SATO? Or use the momentum to push for abolishing SATO" Lousewies had to think this one over...

Well, maybe the people or even anti-SATO government members?
The Ministry of the Armed Imperial Republic of Ruhr sat at the large oak table discussing the week's agenda and the war effort. The topic thusfar that morning was the production rate of war materiel was up 22% and the shipbuilders had began the new hydrofoil missile squadron that was going to be used for upcoming island hopping. A knock was heard on the door and an aide walked in whispering in the Foreign Affairs Minister's ear.
"Oh, really?" His eyes closed for a second as his aide finished his statement. "Gentleman, I have some suprising news. The Syskevians have withdrew membership from SATO without the completion of the poll."
Dmitri frowned while the chatter increased in the room. He spoke firmly, "While we may now stay in SATO, we must remember what this nation has done for the alliance. Helping with previous victories over our enemies and helping with the creation of the defence grid. It is a sad day, and we must remember this."
A period of silence remained as Defence Secretary Jack Fady pulled up a chart from his briefcase continuing the meeting.

You know Syskeyia... you can still join the WASP/IASPO...
After a review of the nation of Syskeyia and the resent actions of their nation the Grand Lady Claudia Wulf has expressed to me her feelings that this is a wonderful new step taken by a nation of faith to remove all connections to the demonic forces of Menelmacar and the Elvish nations.

Go away you n00b. You haven't been around long enough to understand who's bad and who's good.
OOC: My nation is ruled by a fanatic christian government that views all non-human races (and all non-Christians) the way an elf views an orc, lower than dirt and fit only to be slaughtered like an animal. So this response was to be expected.
By a radio transmitter somewhere distant on a table in a little house with a gigantic antenna on top of a high mast on a boat, rocking on the waves somewhere outside Syskeyia on international waters. A small player was connected to the transmitter on which a recording was set on repeat, the melody was famous all around the world and the lyrics went over and over again like this:
Five little SATO dogs
Going in for law;
One lost the trial
And then there were four.
A note was nailed to the door leading to the radio transmitter and the player saying.
God Bless,
The wonderful nation of Vegana

Careful, hon, I do have a habit of getting ortillery-happy on those sorts of nations. Tread lightly. ;)

OOC: Oh, may I? Please? I want to kill someone! Preferrably someone without orcs!
