Zeronian World Factbook +military information! Check it out!

Zeronia

Here's a neat little factbook on a not quite well-known nation out there called Zeronia! :o I pretty much followed the CIA factbook layout, but made some minor changes here and there. At the end you'll see a section on the military. This is just a brief section on the Zeronian military, just to give you an idea of the numbers, etc.

Any comments or suggestions are encouraged (i.e. enforced), particularly with regards to the all-time favourite newbie (not n00b) question: am I godmodding? Please read.

Introduction – Zeronia

Flag – Zeronia

http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/zeronia.jpg (http://www.angelfire.com/alt/zeronia/images/zf_large.GIF)

Flag description: The Zeronian flag hasn’t changed much in the past fifty-some years since its inception. The flag contains the national colours; red decoration on a black background. The national symbol is seen on the upper hoist-side corner of the flag. The symbol was the first sign of identity of the underground movement against King Sellofane V. The contemporary interpretation of the symbol is that arch symbolizes the national unity that keeps Zeronia together, with a foundation of a strong sense of civil responsibility. The old symbol of the army, an accentuated cross, lies on the lower far corner of the flag. A thick, red stripe bordered by thin stripes moves across the flag from the lower hoist side corner to the upper far corner.

Background:

Tony KAZZERO (http://www.nrw2000.de/koepfe/pics_kopf/eisenhower.jpg) led the revolt from the tyrannical rule of the Sellofane dynasty, emancipating the people in 1953, and claiming Zeronia a sovereign nation in 1954. The Kazzero family still leads Zeronia, the current Premier being Tony’s adopted son, Damien KAZZERO (http://www.angelfire.com/alt/zeronia/images/damien.jpg). Although the family keeps a tight grip on power, and heads the only legal political party in Zeronia, citizens enjoy many civil liberties. Although Zeronia boasts some of the world’s best manufacturing and construction industries, the economy is still recovering from the economic implosion of the 1980s. Currently, Zeronia is focused on modernizing its infrastructure while keeping social welfare and education a high priority. Economy – Zeronia

Economy - overview: For the most part, the Zeronian economy is centrally planned, although some of the strict business laws have been recently relaxed. The Zeronian economy is undergoing massive change. Historically, and even today, Zeronia’s economy is mostly based on the manufacturing and construction industries. Strong anti-business politics has never allowed the Zeronian economy to reach its full potential. Currently, Ministry of Finance is planning new strategies to increase economic output without giving too much power to private businesses. Within the past three years, the economy has dug itself out of economic implosion, and is categorized as ‘fair’ by international financial organizations. Inflation rates have been cut in half, and the Zeronian crum is the strongest ever since 1974.

Zeronia’s current economic focus is on galvanizing its industrial sector, while seeking international cooperation to stir activity in the service sector. Most private businesses are small, or family owned. The largest company in Zeronia is Zeronian Industrial Military Manufacturers (ZIMM), which services (or is involved with) over 93% of the Zeronian military. Economic outlook for the next twenty years is good.

Some of it I made up on the spot. Most of it, though, I've been either keeping track of or thinking about for a long time. And I try to take into account the size of my nation and its current economic status, as well as whatever I've been posting up to now.

There does seem to be a lot of emphasis on napalm weapons (or maybe this is just me) Is there a reason?

So I can get more feedback!

There does seem to be a lot of emphasis on napalm weapons (or maybe this is just me) Is there a reason?
It's just you. :)

Actually, the napalm weapons probably stand out because napalm (and to a lesser extent, acid) is our own little version of a weapon of mass destruction. Napalm and acids are the closest thing to traditional chemical weapons (i.e. gas weapons, poison). And also, as far as ranged capabilities are concerned, we are trying to get our napalm into longer-ranged missiles.
