<AMF News Update>

Today Damien Dreadfire has ordered a large tax cut across the entire Empire and affiliated states. Damien has also made it clear that the poorer the citizen, the larger the tax cut. Although the economic situation in Greek Forces and Hackers Demise has been slipping abit, Damien hopes to correct that situation.

Automagfreek is a land of plenty, and not only will our citizens be receiving a generous tax break, all naions inside the Excessively Armed Empire will as well. Here are some current statistics:

We will be concentrating on the economic situations in Greek Forces and Hackers Demise mostly, but all other nations (ours included) will be giving their citizens large tax cuts, somewhere in the trillions. I have spoken with the stewards of all nations in the Empire, and they agree that this could do alot of good for the moral and economic situation of all.

OOC: For those that aren't familiar with my Empire, each nation had an RP'd take over by AMF. Except for Greek Forces, that is the only nation out of the above that I created. All others were given to me.

I congratulate you on your efforts to stir greater economic activity in your Empire. Although we don't quite agree with your imperialistic nature, we can relate to your situation. Recently, we've been trying to increase our economic strength as well.

I am sure that the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek and its territories will benefit greatly from these tax cuts, and inevitably lead to a much more prosperous empire and people.

We are glad to see that AMF has decreased the finantial burden upon it's citizens and the citizens of it's empire.... although we really have no room to talk about rights and lowering taxes. It is also good to see that he will keep his nation "militarily abundant" and hasn't gone THAT soft. We bid Damien good luck on his mission to erase the wounds that were inflicted by Rayne and his regime.

Instead of getting free money for sitting on their ass, as you pointed out, the money they recieve is to get them back on their feet. How can they be a productive member of society if they have nowhere to start? Through these tax cuts, those living below the poverty level will be given a boost financially so that they can keep their homes and feed their families. Allowing business to do what they please will only make the rich richer and the poor poorer. This is something we're trying to stamp out.

As for the dead broke living-on-the-streets bums, we're about to introduce a program that will give them jobs and shelter. But that is still in the final stages of planning.

But an ugly fact that CEO's will deny to the grave, no? Big Business cares not for the well-being of the little man, they only care about how much more money they can stuff into their pockets. While the rich sleep on matresses stuffed with 100 dollar bills, the poor struggle to pay rent on their 2 room apartments.

Now, who is Big Business benefitting? The people...or themselves?

"We, the people of the United Republics of Tiburon and their respected leaders, while we do not endorse your style of governance, has been observing the progression of AMF back into a nation that nurtures its populace, and have found the style of governance to be of little importance as the nation paves its way towards greatness. As such, at this time we have a statement from all people in all of the Tiburonese republics. We wish to pursue the withdrawal of our previous demands, and, at the same time, note the rejection of any combat between our nation regardless of the reason, and strongly hope that AMF will follow suit."
